The fit and feel aren't great. I have Jabra Elites and those felt better in the ear. The features and functions on the ear buds are ok at best. Jabra's features and mobile app are better. The ANC is pretty great though, and the battery life is amazing (both way better than Jabra). Being on the phone all the time, these are much better for my needs.

The WF-1000XM4 features an Ergonomic surface design for a stable and comfortable fit. If you feel earbud tips are difficult to put into your ears, change the size of earbud tips or squeeze earbud tips lightly before wearing the headset. Check if the headset is properly worn on your ears. Wear the headset so that the earbud tip is comfortably situated as deep in the ear canal as possible.

Excellent All Around - Beat my Airpod Pro's

Battery life is double that of Airpod pro model. NC is excellent. A bit pricy but worth every penny, especially on long flights. The only minor con is the app to control the sound. It's a bit cumbersome but not a deal killer.

Didn’t give it a great cause touch controls, I work where we wear gaiters so the gaiter will rub on the earbuds and cause accidental taps.

The best earbuds I have used!

These are the best I have used. They have excellent noise-canceling. Lows are powerful without being muddy or overpowering. Midrange tones are great. Highs are not great, but good. Overall they have an excellent sound. I have found them to be comfortable once I found the right size of the interchangeable tips. The tips seem to be a bit larger than other brands I have owned. Start with the small ones and go up from there if needed. The phone app is very functional and has several customization features. One downside is that volume control cannot be used at the same time as music control, but I have a smartwatch that lets me easily control the volume of my phone so that is not a problem. Switching from one paired device to another is easy.

Battery lasts longer than I would ever need. Comfortable. Dropped to 4 stars because of a strange "whooshing" sound I hear every now and again when using my phone while listening while ANC is on. This is a widely reported issue on sites like Reddit. Can't give 5 stars until Sony fixed it.

I use these at work where things are loud and I can barely hear the machines in the background. Only downside is, they randomly connect to my phone when they’re in the case which I find extremely irritating. I did get the XM5’s and they connect randomly ALL THE TIME! I wish I would’ve kept these ones instead.

To be clear, when they worked they are the best. the sound quality is fantastic and the ANC can't really be beat. the big problem is quality. I babied these era buds, charged the case when drained, never dropped the case or buds never got them wet and paired them with a few different devices regularly . one day i noticed they did seems very loud anymore so started trouble shooting by unpairing then restarting the earbuds which is basically impossible without physically having the case with you. once i finally repaired them with my phone, one bud was quieter than the other, by a lot. then i was getting a metallic sort of distortion. after a go around with support, i sent them in and got a warranty replacement as they were less than a year old. Long story short, the replacement pair lasted less than 3 months and at that point Sony said they would do nothing. spoiler alert, i ended up the LinkBuds S... total garbage too.

Had issues with the firmware update. But that was easily fixed. They fit my ears like they were crafted my dwarves and finished with gnome techniques. As in. They do not cause pain. They stay in my ear. Others may disagree. Keep that in mind. It was the one thing that had me question if I bought these or not. They are for my online schooling, the microphone works well. Even with a hat on there are no issues with people hearing me on a zoom meeting. Battery could be better. That is not uncommon. Make sure your phone supports the Bluetooth codec LDAC to get the most out of them. You must also use a hifi streaming service, such as tidal. Spotify doesn't have hifi streaming. Keep that in mind. I have never had complaints with Sony headphones. They are the only brand that I am aware of that supports true lossless LDAC Bluetooth. The noise cancelling is superb. The Sony app allows you to customize th noise cancelling. So if you talk it will amplify your voice and others. Allowing you to have them in both ears and still be able to hear people talk. Good for being in public or work. If you aren't willing to learn about how to use them you will be disappointed. I love that about you them, some may find it annoying.

The case feels a little on rhe cheap side, the foam tips break down fast, and the Sony Headphone Connect app has some... Quirks. Sometimes buds will think you took them out and disconnect until you readjust them. All that said, these are the best sounding earbuds I have ever owned. Absolutely unreal how good they sound. Songs I've been listening to for 20 years sound better than ever.

There are a few flaws that really annoying. First, in cold temperatures the earbuds randomly skip, pause, and anc turning on and off. The provided ear tips are trash. They randomly connect to the earbuds when they are in the case, super annoying when you’re trying to listen to music in the car. It’s takes some time to get used to the touch controls.

Superior sound quality with a few minor quirks

Like Samsung's Galaxy Buds, whenever I attempt to adjust them for a better fit I frequently turn something on or off, yet they're not NEARLY as touch-sensitive as Samsung's buds. Although it has the finest quality noise canceling I've ever owned, they work better while driving because when I'm walking around outside, the ANC spontaneously turns on and off without warning, but you can restore your previous setting with a single tap of your left bud. The battery life is outstanding and the bass with surround-sound feature is unbelievable!

Amazing except for fit

The fit is uncomfortable, I must have large ear canals as I have to use the largest tips to get a seal. I don't have pain like some others have expressed and have worn these for well over an hour and they stay in fine, but you know they are always there and your ears are happier when you take them out.

Beats Samsung buds easily

So I got these earbuds that smack the samsung buds in everyway longer battery, anc, ambient sound, sound, equilizer and more.

Very Impressive Earbud

Equalizer offers extensive control to dial in sound to your liking. A little tricky getting a good seal of the ear tip on one of my ears but the app gives you a test to determine the correct fit. Little on the expensive side but they offer up a truly high end experience.

Had to place ear tips from some previous beats by dre that I had on them. They slip out a lot. Not the most comfortable but the sound? second to none. Different sizes of earbud tips are supplied so that you can achieve the maximum effects of the earbuds. Ear canals vary in size from person to person, and can also vary in size from the left to the right sides. To keep the headphones from falling out, please select the right size earbud tips. We also recommend wearing the earbuds properly.
Gently pull up on the top of your ears, put the earbud tips in your ear canal, and then twist the earbuds into place. This makes sure the earbuds are firmly in the ear canal.
