The WF-1000XM4 comes with different sizes of earbuds to ensure there is a great fit for all ear sizes and an optimal noise canceling experience. As a suggestion, to reduce discomfort while wearing the headphones, try to use the right size according to the size of your ears. When wearing them, please gently pull on the top of your ear as you twist the earbud into your ear. This should give you a firmer hold and better noise canceling experience. Sound was good but not impressive. Noise cancelling worked but let some noise, especially low frequency noise through. They did do a very good job of sound pass-through so you didn't need to take them out when holding a conversation. Touch controls were problematic.

The cancellation is stellar not quite as good as my XM3’s but the best I’ve gotten from earbuds! The memory foam tips took some time to get used too but they’re comfortable and form a great seal. I haven’t had much luck until now finding comfortable ear buds that I can use for long periods of time but these surprised me; they’re very comfortable! The set up only took a few minutes, the sound quality is great and the battery life holds up to the expectations set by my XM3.

Unfortunately I lost the left one at work and was not able to find. These truly have clean crisp audio as well as a nice deep bass to satisfy any bass heads out there. Truly amazing design with the ambient noise and I love how the microphone picks up voices so well. In my line of work being able to have my music stop playing without actually having to remove the earbud or pause the song is wonderful. As soon as I talk the music will stop and the tiny microphone picks my voice and any others who may be talking as well. I would recommend 10/10

'Wind' Always Blowing in the Left Earbud

Was very pleased when I received them, much lighter than the Mark 3's, color of the earbuds and case was great, even preferable to the black I think, much smaller case, great magnets to hold the earbuds in, like the new ear tips (although I hope replacements would be available to purchase in the very near future), was definitely looking forward to using them. I charged them up put in the right earbud and you could already tell the noise cancelation was great. Put in the left earbud, sounds like the wind is blowing in my ear, nothing super loud but you could tell it was there. Took them out, put them back in the case, tried again, the same result. Updated the firmware put them back in and still, the wind blowing in my ear. Never got far enough to even try music through them, that's why I only rated a three. Took them, disappointedly, back to Best Buy and returned them. I was asked if I wanted another set order but for $280 (then another $70 I believe for the Geek Squad protection) I'm hesitant and not sure if I want to give it another shot or not. Maybe I will maybe I won't, but I don't want to get another defective pair and where I'm happy that Best Buy didn't give me a hassle returning them, they have in the past and I don't want to get another set and have to return them only to not be able to return them. I'll try to update this review if I choose to get another pair, or write a new review, but still undecided at this point.

The WF1000XM4 comes with different sizes of earbuds to ensure there is a great fit for all ear sizes. Change the earbud tips to ones that fit more snugly in your ears. When changing the earbud tips, try the earbud tip sizes in order from the larger ones to the smaller ones. The size of the left and right earbud tips may be different. If you want LISTEN to your music, and not just hear it... then, These are the headphones for you. These are the headphones that do the very best of taking all the distractions away, and providing up to High Resolution audio to yours ears. If you know anything about lossless audio, then you know how good LDAC can be. Sony is the master at it. I am proud to use these headphones on a Xperia 1 iii and I understand it even sounds fantastic on Crapple... Err... Apple phones too. Pro Tip: take the time to do the app's tutorial on the best fit. You will be able find the balance between comfort and sound/noise cancellation. Pro Tip2: If you normally keep the phone close (less than 6') to the headphones, then make sure to set the Bluetooth connection quality in the headphones app to "priority on sound quality"... This way, if the audio app, and audio files you are using can enable LDAC for that lossless/high res audio.

Great earphones with great noise cancelling
