The left loses charge faster than the right. The noise canceling is not as effective as I wanted.

Amazing earbuds but not suitable for my usecase

I bought both Jabra 85t and these earphones. These headphones definitely have much better noise cancellation as compared to Jabra. Their noise cancellation is in par with Bose - QuietComfort Earbuds if not better. The sound is also pretty amazing with very good trebles and decent bass. You can use each side independently which I think is a great plus. Overall, these are pretty amazing earphones. However I decided to keep the Jabra 85t and return these because of their fit. Although Jabra 85t has poor noise cancellation compared to these, they fit better in my ear. For me I cared more about fit and comfort because I sometimes like to sleep with my earphones on and I can't do that with these earbuds. So, these are great earbuds but not for my usecase.

Different sizes of earbud tips are supplied so that you can achieve the maximum effects of the earbuds. Ear canals vary in size from person to person, and can also vary in size from the left to the right sides. To keep the headphones from falling out, please select the right size earbud tips. We also recommend wearing the earbuds properly.
- Gently pull up on the top of your ears, put the earbud tips in your ear canal, and then twist the earbuds into place. This makes sure the earbuds are firmly in the ear canal.
We designed these headphones to provide incredible audio performance and take noise cancellation to the next level. You can enjoy crystal clear call quality, even in noisy environments and our speak-to-chat technology automatically reduces volume during conversation. Plus, you can get 8 hour long battery with noise canceling, IPX4 water resistance and easy wireless charging.

These are impressive!! Sound quality is the best of the best especially with the included equalizer and the adaptive sound controls are excellent. The noise cancellation, speak to chat, equalizer, can all automatically change based on my movements or even my location. If you have the previous version, the XM3s, these are are a big step up in every way. Phone call quality has also improved massively. These are now the only earbuds I use, even for phone calls. If you, like me, have been using the AirPods Pro as your main headphones, give them to someone. If you are using any of Samsung’s earbuds…seriously, don’t do that. If you have the XM3’s and talk on the phone, replace them with these. I wish I could have purchased them in black but just like when the XM3s came along, Best Buy was out of stock, for weeks. Repeatedly.

That's why it's 4 stars. But I did not play around with the EQ on the app, just leave it 'off' Also, the tip kind of hurt my ear a bit. Sony decided to use the foam type and it might be why. Could be different for someone else. Noise cancellation works really good. It is on the pricey side but the sound quality is worthed.

Far superior to the cheaper buds I had earlier. The only thing that the cheaper buds had better was that the charging case on the cheaper buds also had a port to allow the case to charge other devices. Other than that, if you can afford to spend the $ on a better set of buds do it!

Perfect earbuds, except the battery.

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everything about these earbuds is really great, great sound quality, great app, great mic.... except the battery (battery life was great out of the box, it's just been the past 2 months). Like a lot of people the left earbud just started to not charge completely and even when it was above 90% would discharge in less than 10 minutes. Right one was a little better but still 30 mins before it gave out. It's a real shame as these really are wonderful except for that. That said, I have been in contact with Sony and they are replacing the earbuds even though they're out of warranty. So they do recognise there is an issue here, so much so they've even commented on the new versions XM5 that are about to be released and that they won't suffer from the same issue. But, they're not cheap and I'd be a little wary of getting them again.

I have turned off the speak for ambient sound and still consistently changes back and forth. They are solid earbuds with great battery life but noise cancellation doesn’t work at good as I hoped.

I like the active noise cancelling but it does pre ent you from vocally singing with the music. Nothing really to be done about that though. The noise cancellation is definitely just like the over the ear experience when engaged.
