These really sound good and paired easily with my devices. Noise cancelling was great and I got them on sale. Really liked the style. All good, except..... these just didn't fit one of my ears and could fall out fairly easy. Tried the different size plugs and it didn't make a difference. All I could picture was waking up on an airplane and wondering where it went, or having it bounce out of my ear on my riding mower. Took them back and tried some Beats. Was quite happy with those. If these fit you I highly recommend them.

Great earbuds. Sound, noise cancellation, and battery life were all excellent. Unfortunately the fit wasn’t right for me and I had to return.

These headphones were great. Noise canceling were life changing. A little pricey but certainly worth the money. If you have an apple iPhone these certainly are better music quality and noise canceling compared to AirPods, however they do have some certain features that can be improved upon. They are excellent earbuds and deserve a 5 star rating.

Love these headphones. More comfy than the AirPods I was using. Solid batter life. Excellent sound. Like they can work with only one earphone in use like the AirPods. Some others I was comparing at the time of purchase didn’t allow that feature. need to be careful repositioning the device while in use, I have hung up on a call.

I imagine these are great for many... they simply aren't right for me. I was looking to upgrade from my old Bose Soundsport partially wired buds with something that has noise cancellation. My first inclination was to stick with Bose but I figured I would try these after all the great reviews. These simply don't fit me well. The in ear canal feeling is irritating to me with and not tolerable for longer experiences. The app analyzes the fit (which is really cool) but that doesn't prevent a horrible clicking/seal popping noise every step I take while walking or running. I also experienced really bad wind noise on a bike ride. I am far from an audiophile but, to me, the sound is no better than my Soundsports... and maybe not quite as deep or rich. The tech in and on these is fantastic. The noise cancelling is really impressive with one caveat. They are totally unable to cancel some specific noises... like passing car tire hum on a busy street. The tap controls are nice and the feature that auto-stops media when you talk can be great. It did not interrupt media play when I coughed or breathed deeply during workouts. However, it probably will cut off if you grunt when exercising. The charging case works nicely and the buds get sucked into place magnetically with a satisfying click. I did not experience the 3D audio as it requires the use of specific apps and I wasn't interested in more trials. It's probably worth noting that these don't integrate quite as seamlessly as air pods with Apple products (no surprise there). That said, the app makes pairing and switching devices simple. The high quality Bluetooth setting is very unreliable and frequently stuttered on a bike ride. The compatibility mode works much better and sound quality is roughly equivalent to me. In conclusion, If you don't mind the feeling of earplugs these are very good. I feel they are slightly overrated and overpriced.

These sound fabulous! I also a proud owner of the over-ear WH-1000MX3s and I have to say in my experience no one can compete with Sony when it comes to sound. I gave up on Bose years ago, their sound is just not dynamic enough. Even though I love Apple products, their ear pods just don’t compare. And then I have tried various pairs of Beats…all mid to higher end. They are ok but once you experience Sony you won’t go back. I was able to achieve a great fit with the WF-1000MX4’s and the stay in place perfectly when I am on a run, probably the best I’ve had, even compared to buds with over ear hooks. That may be due to the foam tips. I found the controls responsive and easy to use. I love the speaking feature and found the noise canceling superb! The fact that you can tune the buds to your likes is wonderful…want more bass, dial it up. The app is a really great adjunct to truly customize and give the listener the best experience. I will probably get my husband a pair too as everything else just misses the mark. I had no issues pairing with my iPhone, Apple Watch, MacBook. Pairing with my work pc was also a breeze. These are definitely up there in cost, but you get what you pay for and that is evident in this quality set.

I wear earbuds daily. At least 12 hours per day. I have loved these earbuds for every minute of usage, until recently. About 3 weeks ago, the left earbud would only work for about 1-3 hours, instead of 8 hours as it is supposed to. That being said, I have the XM5's being delivered any minute now. I can't wait to get back to signing to people that I am deaf at the grocery store, while I'm listening to some tunes and "tuning" out the noise of humanity and their misery. I highly recommend Sony earbuds and ignoring the public.

I had lost a single 1st gen Airpod Pro and ultimately decided not to upgrade to the latest gen so I bought these when they were the same price as the pro. I was mainly looking for sound quality and noise cancellation and these definitely ticked the boxes for what I was looking for. Biggest drawback were because I have an iphone all the settings for the airpods are already in the settings app vs. having to download an app for these and also having to decide between the button funtions. (Play/pause or ANC on/off on either L/R side as opposed to being able to do both with a single press or long press) I used them for a 4 hour flight and battery life was great and so was noise cancellation. Also I use a lockable case because I’ve had super bad luck with my airpods opening and scattering when they fall which is how I lost one of them. I also like the foam earbud tips, I’m considering getting silicone because I’ve read that the foam rips.

the sound is amazing. I would say its worth the money, but sony broke my previous pair with a software update. (im not joking, look it up)

Bought there earbuds for my mother's birthday and so far she is in love. I was nervous about this pricey purchase because of their size but my mother has very small ears and surprisingly they stay put. This is most likely because of the foam ear tips which also helps with comfortability as well. With these earbuds you can use whatever side you'd like individually. This feature is one of the most important and convenient. Unlike most (for example, the new Jabra Elite 75t) that only allows you to use one side solo not either or.

These are definitely pricey but they are the best wireless earbuds I have used so far. Very comfortable to use for long periods of time, easy to charge, they last for awhile on a single charge, and the noise cancelling is very good. There are better noise cancelling options out there but they are going to be actual headphones.

There are surprisingly not very good; especially for >$200. The noise canceling is good on my motorcycle or car, but the music sound quality is average, even with the great app. for my telephone. The fit is very good unless you're moving around (my ear canal changes shape when i move apparently). Still a descent product, but I'd step up to the Bose. The touch pads are very good; as well as the Sony app.

For years i resisted buying earbuds because i could never find any that fit properly. Finally decided to get my behind in the gym. I was using a pair of JBL headphones. Those things were horrible to use when working out. They trapped heat and made me sweat even more. The connection wasn't very good either. Read several reviews to see which earbuds had the highest reviews. The Sony's won buy a large margin. I took a chance and bought a pair of these high priced things. So far, they work great. They stay in place, excellent bt connection, multiple controls, and great noise canceling. Not to mention that they fit great without hurt my ears after a few hours. The companion app is excellent. You can control the behavior of the earbuds at your favorite locations. The functionality of the app is above and beyond. It also tunes the buds to whatever streaming music service you use. Love these Sony's and highly recommend them. The only thing i hate is the price.

Before purchasing the Sony WF-1000XM4's I used Samsung's buds with an iPhone. The Samsung sound quality was good but nothing more. And sound isolation is totally reliant on the ear seal. All that said I initially was looking for better noise reduction for long international flights. And in fact the Sony product delivers. As good or better relative to over the ear Bose noise canceling headphone. But to my surprise the Sony product's sound quality is very good. Beats Bose by far and crushes the Samsung products. Notable is that the Sony app allows tuning the equalization to suit the user. The only downside of the Sony product is their size somewhat large at least relative to the smaller Samsung buds. But in practice this doesn't matter. They don't fall out of the ears nor are they noticeably heavy. I can recommend these for their noise isolation (passive and active) and really nice sound quality.

They have really good bass just that they are too big for the ears and after awhile of wearing them they start to hurt

These are the xm3 which had awesome sound quality but in a smaller and comfortable package. With these im not worried they will fall out and also they fit under my motorcycle helmet. Now as a basshead i can say these arent gonna hit really hard but the overall sound quailty makes up for it. One knock against them is the left one will not work with the right in the case so these seem to have a master slave connection.
