Does a better job than beats studio 3. Ive used both at the gym the xm4 blocks all the gym music better than the studio 3s even though they are over ear headphone. Overall sound quality is also much better the fit is great they have not fallen off the ears on my workouts. Best overall value for the price

Look for forums to see what kind of issues users have. The xm4 buds sound pretty good, features and app are subpar. Looks like Sonys making improvements with the next xm model but if the app is the same I'll pass especially coming in around $330. If u can get the xm4's under $200 it maybe worth it.

I have an iPhone 22 Pro Max. Had to download the Alexa app to use voice commands. Voice commands doesn’t work that great. I am impressed with the sound and noise canceling if these earbuds. I have a difficult time finding earbuds that actually fit my ears and these work. I am so happy. I do experience some discomfort after having them in for an hour or so but they fit. They actually stay put. I do such a pair of Apple AirPod Pros that I thought didn’t work any longer but after changing out my charger they now work. I am still going to keep my Samsung EarPods since my Airpods don’t fit and stay in my ears the best.

Treble is rich, mid-range is where it should be. Voice calls are excellent as well. My one gripe-- I wish the battery lasted longer. Not sure if I actually get the advertised 8 hours.

I already have a pair of the WF-1000XM3 so I decided to give these a try after reading a few reviews. One reason I upgraded is IPx4 water resistance, the older model wasn’t water resistant. I very happy I upgraded, The sound quality is incredible, very good bass. Mids and highs are clear and defined. The active noise cancelling is exceptional for earbuds—Very similar to the WH-1000XM4 over ear. If you add comply foam ear tips these provide comfortable fit, stay in your ear and enhance the already outstanding sound quality. Don’t hesitate to pick up a set of these buds, you won’t be disappointed-worth every penny. Don’t forget the comply foam tips (may need to order online)

By far the best in ear headphones I’ve ever had the pleasure to experienced. My only recommendation would be to make sure you don’t take them in the sauna as I messed a pair up wearing them in there for 25 mins at a time.

Size is little bigger for my ears, even I use small earplug. Hope they will never fell. Use almost over the week, but case still is fully charged and keep headphones charged too.

Gently pull up on the top of your ears, put the earbud tips in your ear canal, and then twist the earbuds into place. This makes sure the earbuds are firmly in the ear canal.

Sound quality is beyond, in ear retention is not

However, once again Sony designs in ear headphones that just don’t want to stay in your ear and would love to go off on their own adventures with the weight placed so far out and no additional in ear retention aside from the stem itself.

Widespread battery problems stay away

I will probably never buy another Sony earbud again and instead will get Pixel Bud Pros. The Sonys sound amazing and I loved the noise cancellation and everything but the way they handle the battery problems for everyone is not ok and you should probably stay away. They do charge pretty fast and last a long time but overtime the batteries start to drain quicker on one bud which isn't supposed to happen they should be degrading equally. You may also experience one bud getting hotter or even an explosion which some people have experienced. Don't put these in your ears stay away.

After doing my research I decided to go with Sony. Today I received my Sony WF-1000XM4. I’m in love. I love all the many features Sony-XM4 offers and most of all the quality of sound is absolutely amazing. I am a big music and podcast fan so I wanted something with more hours of battery life than what my AirPods has to offer. As far as the size they are bigger than what I’m used to but after a few hours I’m adjusting and also have to get used to how they go in my ear compared to AirPod Pro but again I love them so I’ll get used to it. They are expensive yes but I am definitely impressed so far. I am sold. Thank you Sony.
