Very full sounding with good bass and clear highs. The app could use some work…I would love to see more options for being able to blend the left and right stereo sound or maybe some DSP setting similar to 360 audio for stereo music. The call quality with these is absolutely horrible. When you have on noise canceling and answer a call it turns the microphones on im assuming so you can hear your voice in your ears. The result is a barrage of noise dumped in your ears during your phone call. It is especially noticeable driving. We need an option to not hear our voice when ANC is in use. I use voice to text often and the same noise issue. It is a software issue but it’s bad enough that I may return these and possibly repurchase in a few months. Overall I like the sound from these but everyone I have talked to with the said they had a hard time hearing me on phone calls. My Air Pods Pro were the exact opposite. Great call quality and poor sound for music. I really hope Sony can fix the issues with software updates because I want to love these…right now they are just OK.

We're sorry to hear that you have an issue with your SONY unit. Your voice will be heard from the headset through the headset’s microphones (Sidetone function). In this case, ambient sounds or the sounds of the earbuds operation may be heard through the headset, but this is not a malfunction. We suggest to use the smartphone or mobile phone at least 50 cm (19.69 in.) away from the earbuds. Noise may result if the smartphone or mobile phone is too close to the headset.
We also recommend that you update your headphones with the latest firmware.

Turn up the volume of the connected device.
When the volume adjustment function is assigned to the touch sensor with the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app, you can adjust the volume on the headset during music playback.
Even when the volume adjustment function has been assigned to the touch sensor with the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app, you cannot adjust the volume on the headset during a call. Adjust the volume on the connected device. If you are unable to adjust the volume on the connected device, install the “Sony | Headphones Connect” smartphone app and adjust the volume on the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app.
Connect the Bluetooth device to the headset once again.
The sound conduits (sound output tubes), air holes, and microphone holes (in 2 locations) of the headset are not completely watertight. If any water droplets are left in the sound conduits, air holes, or microphone holes (in 2 locations), sound level becomes low temporarily, but this is not a malfunction. See “When you have finished using the headset” and dry the headset before use.
Reset the headset.
Initialize the headset, and pair the headset and the device again.

Pluse the price point is jusf right for the competition. I would choose these over pods pro. I am a android user over apple but i have a apple for work and these work fine with that too. The ear sorness goes away by day 3. Day one use them for 2 hours. Day 2 use them for 4. Then by day 3 your ears are used to them and you wont notice any discomfort from The pressure points.

Noise cancellation very works well and sound quality is impressive. One caveat to be aware of: these will not fit if you have small-ish ears. My 13 year old son couldn't fit them in his ears with the smallest tip.

Were they spot on to this point? YES! SOUND QUALITY The sound quality it's fantastic for such a small product it delivers clarity and great bass. Tweaking the EQ and using LDAC in your Bluetooth options of your headset is night and day great product! Sony does it again. PHONE CALL QUALITY I have been hearing a ton of reviews give an ok on the sound quality of calls and unfortunately that ks where this product falls a tad short but with that being said though is not unusable or they sound horrendous they just could of sound better then they do. This is not a major issue to hear who you are talking to or the person hearing you on the receiving end. This is GOOD! CONNECTIVITY Connectivity is not complex, simply put on both ear buds on, hold the touch pads on the outer part of your ear buds for about 5 seconds and you should get a prompt. Once that is done simply go to your connectivity and then selct Bluetooth section and they should come right up on your screen. GREAT! Now just download Sony's app and you're going to an infinite amount of options with your headset. Options I recommend OFF is adaptive sound control, speak to chat OFF as well, and voice assistant select DO NOT USE otherwise you will not be able to use each bud independently from one another only the right bud will work if option left on and left wont work without right ear bud. Option you should leave ON is Bluetooth connection quality and choose priority on soind quality in order to turn LDAC option. DSEE Extreme option is entirely up to you but it improves the soind quality if all music and sound vastly!!

One topic I haven't noticed is how easy these are to pair to any device in seconds flat always. So I connect these to my bluetooth desktop, bluetooth laptop, and my LG oled bluetooth tv constantly and then I'll re-pair them to my android constantly having noise canceling using my laptop or desktop in my room with air purifier AC and fan all blowing on max settings the WF-1000XM4 ANC literally silence over 100 db of noise pollution everything except what I'm watching, or the game I'm playing these things even work with discord for audio and voice on my desktop / laptop zero issue! In fact their so nice on my PC with bluetooth that when its last paired to my computer I can just pull them out put them on and instantly it will just connect and automatically they change my sound setting on my PC from my soundbar to the WF-1000XM4's automatically with me doing zero input and when I take them off it changes back to my sound bar instantly. Literally all you do is touch both earbuds for 10 sec then click bluetooth on your pc show devices click their name and you golden with discovery on it pops right up on the list select it and your good to go. Even more what impressed me was with my LG oled pairing with no problem pulled up bluetooth list on my tv sound options and low and behold there they were and its great at night when you want to be quiet with those earbuds being practically weightless compared to traditional over the ear headphones for a pc then on my cell phone it just pops right up quick connect one simple conformation and its connected. The audio for calls and music is superb active noise cancelation at work while on a business call in a loud environment these things shine. I talk very quiet ultimately from working in a call center for so long people tend to match ones voice tone so I developed this habit of being soft spoken and hard to hear. However with these no one every says they cannot hear me and or asks me to repeat myself.

I believe this will be the best sound quality but the usability is where this lacks. Connecting automatically does not always work, I find myself turning off and back on the bluetooth for it to connect. It's not a good fit for my ears, when ever I ate they start to fall out and they just aren't as comfy as air pods. The noise cancelling is sub par, if the music is playing it works great but you need to have it up pretty loud. The ambient sound is great, when I don't want to take out the ear buds I just switch. Modes seem to switch quicker than air pods since it's a quick tap rather then touch and hold. Overall, I still prefer these over air pods pro due to the incredible sound quality.

Ive been through So MANY buds and im sticking with these. Theyre LOUD and ANC is good. Its either these or bose for my tops PERIOD. Plus they look good in design. They do stick without falling so you can workout with these. Love this headphones bass overall.
