    So i have been looking to replace my older declining bose sport earbuds for some time. The sound quality isn't bad, I just felt I needed something to "renew" some music love in my life. I have researched many in-ear ear buds but have never felt comfortable with the full on wireless buds as my bose are the corded bluetooth buds that have silicone tips. I love these because the cord is thick and I love I can hang them around my neck. I thought the sound was always pretty good all around. Fast forward, I took the plunge with these wf-1000xm4s. I am not a huge fan of the foam tips and the fit but they fit decent and seal nicely for the noise canceling. I am researching new tips and I hope to find the best fit possible. The rest of the ear bud is an absolute bliss. Every function works flawlessly as there are more than I can count. Read the specs, it all works very very well. The DSEE is for the lower quality music. I use my Tidal software and I do not have many bad quality songs to choose from, everything is decent quality. So the DSEE doesnt do much for me, but I assume it would upgrade the quality well as all the other functions are amazing. The noise canceling (with the stock foam tips) are amazing. They let in just a little of the low range but all in all they are on par with over the ear ANC headphones, even Sony's WH XM4s. The sound - the bass, treble and mids, man they are perfectly balanced. A great sound quality. Example - I listened to Pink Floyd the Wall (both Volumes in myTidal software) and I swear there are sounds in there I have never heard before. I have listened to this album hundreds of time with headphones, without, in vehicles, home stereo systems (in most formats) and these in ear buds are top of the line. I have not had a better experience enjoying "The Wall" than with these XM4s. I am truly geeking out about these. Best ever...

    The audio is pretty good overall once you get a good fit. Bass is lacking for what i prefer but that's common for most smaller earbuds in my experience. The touch controls are very finicky so they can be hard to adjust or take out without propmting an action.

    I was s little skeptical at first and i planned on returning them because i thought my Jabra 65s were louder and better. Today i did a side by side, thanks to my zfold3 being able to have them both work at the same time. I must say that the Sony's were just as loud and the sound was noticeably better especially the bass. They are slightly less comfortable but nothing i can't get used to. They are packed with features and the connectivity is perfect. Even at that price these are keepers

    overprices and not as good as I was expecting. not a great fit in my ear and noise canceling was not near as good as the new google buds. For that matter the sound in the new pixel buds is much better as well

    Music sounds wonderful. Voice calls are clear as well. Functions from touch aren't as responsive as others. Ear pad deteriated. Cracked and looked quite worn within 60 days. Needs replacing. Water resistent impressive.

    Very good earbuds with excellent sound. The noise canceling on these is the best I've experienced in an earbud. If you want better, you'll have to go with a pair of over the ear headphones. I use them for work almost daily. I've already had to replace the original foam tips, because they ripped. They don't always stay in my ears perfectly, and will occasionally need readjusted, but since I'm only using these for work it's only a minor annoyance. I use Vista 2's for exercise.

    So these are way better than expected, and did the job I wanted while flying. The noise canceling worked better than expected when sitting behind the engines on a long flight. These are lighter and more comfortable as well for me. I have the 1st Gen, and they did the job, but these are worth the upgrade. I also have to say they fit well, are solid, and seem to have the best material at the inserts that I have experienced.

    Cons - Ambient noise is not as good as airpod pro, but its decent. Phone calls are not good when you’re in a noisy environment Pros - noise cancellation is the best I’ve heard from earbuds. Sound is great, definitely better than airpod pro, but you have to find good eq settings to really bring out the sound, otherwise you won’t think its that great for the price. I recommend going to YouTube to find good eq settings as I did (some asian guy made a video) Fit….some people claim it hurt their ears, that wasn’t the case for me. I went to the smallest foam tips that come with it, and I have no complaints, it stays in my ear comfortably even while exercising and sweating Only real drawback is the phone call quality, still a good product overall
