To improve the situation, set the headset to “Priority on stable connection” mode for a more stable Bluetooth connection. If Speak-to-Chat is enabled in advance, the Speak-to-Chat mode starts automatically when you talk to someone. The headset pauses or mutes the music being played and captures the voice of the person you are conversing with on the microphones to make it easier to hear. When you use the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app, you can change the sensitivity of the automatic audio detection and change the time until the Speak-to-Chat mode ends, in addition to switch the mode between enabled and disabled. In the factory settings, the time until the mode ends is set to about 15 seconds.

Despite your concerns, it's nice to know that you like the sound quality and other features of your new Sony WF-1000XM4 True Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones. The WF-1000XM4 also supports Google's helpful new Fast Pair feature. It lets you easily locate where you left your WF-1000XM4 headphones by tone sound, or checking their last known location in Google's Find My Device app on your smartphone.

When changing the earbud tips, try the earbud tip sizes in order from the larger ones to the smaller ones. The size of the left and right earbud tips may be different. The “Sony | Headphones Connect” app will also help you to determine which earbud tips are most suitable for you.

Change the earbud tips to ones that fit more snugly in your ears. When changing the earbud tips, try the earbud tip sizes in order from the larger ones to the smaller ones. The size of the left and right earbud tips may be different.
