Theae are a true gift from the heavens for introverts like me. With one tap of my finger, i can listen for important things just as airport departures, police sirens, and the occasional time you need to listen to someone talk, and with another tap, the world is silenced. Even while using a leafblower, these did a grwat job of canceling out the majority of the noise surrounding the job.

Aftermarket earbud tips please!!!

No matter what tips I use they dont fit right. I have to use the large tips and really force them into my ears and then the whole time Im using the buds I am constantly readjusting them to make them fit right for the best noise canceling and sound. I am so disappointed and dissatisfied with the fit. For the price i paid for these there should be a tip that works perfectly with ease for my ears. Ive tried all three tip sizes and none of them fit correctly.

When changing the earbud tips, try the earbud tip sizes in order from the larger ones to the smaller ones. The size of the left and right earbud tips may be different. The “Sony | Headphones Connect” app will also help you to determine which earbud tips are most suitable for you to achieve the optimal noise cancellation effect.

Best Earbuds I’ve Had

The noise cancelling is great, the fit is excellent due to the foam ear tips, and the audio quality is just crazy. You can customize the audio through the Sony Headphones app. I can now hear things in the background I’ve never heard before with other headphones/earbuds. Also, the case is similar in size to the Airpods Pro, uses USB-C, and can wirelessly charge. You definitely get what you’re paying for with these.

The sound quality is fantastic with very punchy bass, crystal clear vocals, and good 3d experience. What makes these headphones stand out from the rest is the Noise Cancellation. I go to a gym that is very noisy and when I turn ANC I literally cannot hear a single thing in the gym, its scary how good these are at blocking out noise

Ear canals vary in size from person to person, and can also vary in size from the left to the right sides. To keep the headphones from falling out, after selecting the right size earbud tips, we also recommend wearing the earbuds properly.
Gently pull up on the top of your ears, put the earbud tips in your ear canal, and then twist the earbuds into place. This makes sure the earbuds are firmly in the ear canal.

The app with the equalizer makes all other earbuds inferior. My only complaint is there is no ability to connect to 2 devices at once. Hopefully that will be fixed with a software update.

However, while the headphones are in the case they randomly connect to my phone while I’m listening to anything on speaker. They also do the same thing on calls. If they’re connected to my phone as I’m listening to music and I turn on my laptop they disconnect from my phone and connect to my laptop. These are amazing headphones in regards to audio quality, battery, and noise cancelling. But none of that matters if the connectivity is horrible

Please ensure the software version is updated. The software version can be updated using the Headphones Connect App. In addition, restarting or Initializing the headphones are also a recommendation.

Nothing compares, I had some Samsung Buds Pro, those gave me a literal earache until I lost one riding a bike. I have the wh-1000xm3 over the ear phones and these wf-1000xm4 come close. Best of all I can rest on my side. These are too expensive to take riding, I lost the buds pro without thinking, but for everyday, working, walking around, these are perfect. Walk in silence.

For optimum fit and comfort, make sure that you are wearing the headphones properly. Wear the headset so that the earbud tip is comfortably situated as deep in the ear canal as possible. Change the earbud tips to ones that fit more snugly in your ears. When changing the earbud tips, try the earbud tip sizes in order from the larger ones to the smaller ones. The settings needed some tweaking to improve the vocals a little, but after doing that, I couldn't be happier! The noise cancelling is awesome! If you are in high winds, turn on the 'reduce wind noise' setting in the app and be prepared to be blown away after being in the wind for about 3-5 secs... Literally amazing and worth EVERY PENNY!!! It takes out 99% of the wind noise while outdoors in 50+ mph winds!

Airpods have a far superior mic. In ear audio quality is fantastic. If you spend a lot of time on the phone or Zoom calls this is not the earbuds for you. I returned them because of this.

Depending on the ambient condition and the type/volume of audio playback, the ambient sounds may not be heard even when using the Quick Attention Mode.
