Extreme Joy for 14 months, then disappointed..

I have yet to see a set of earbuds that can equal this yet. I listen to music a lot. I have severe anxiety, so I have a few pairs of earbuds to always have sound in my ears, to keep the mind calm. For 14 months, I loved these earbuds. They beat out the Bose quiet comfort 1 and AirPods Pro by a mile. Unfortunately, 2 months after the 1-year warranty expired, the long term battery life is shot. Granted I use these heavily, but I do the same for my other earbuds. The right earbud holds charge for about 20 minutes, and the left for about 1 hour, and that is when fully charged. My AirPods Pro that are over 2.5 years old and seen similar usage, still hold excellent charge for 3-4 hours. Sorry, but for what were $300 earbuds at the time, I cannot accept the cliche that as soon as the warranty expires, the earbuds are dead. I googled and learned that this is a fairly common problem with this model, but most it occurs within the 12 month warranty. I'm very disappointed, I'm not sure I want to buy another set of earbuds from Sony. Yes they are amazing, but if you plan on heavy use, expect to replace them in a year. For me, this is too high of price to pay every 12 months.

Ok sound, and decent noise canceling. At 1 year I noticed some funny battery quirks, then it went downhill fast. I now can only recharge the headphones once (kinda) from the base, and the headphones at 100% battery stay on for at most 10-15 minutes. Stranger yet, the left headphone dogs after 3 minutes, and i used\charge this one less often. Not worth the money at all.

My previous top wireless earbuds were the ones by Bose. The quiet comfort or the Bose sport. -FYI the Bose QC and sport sound the same one can just block outside sound better. But these new songs have stepped up the game when it comes to earbuds. All the way from fit design to the superior sound. Hands down best on the market

We provide an assortment of earbuds in various sizes to ensure there is a great and comfortable fit for all ear sizes. The sound conduits (sound output tubes), air holes, and microphone holes (in 2 locations) of the headset are not completely watertight. If any water droplets are left in the sound conduits, air holes, or microphone holes (in 2 locations), a beeping sound (feedback) may be heard temporarily. This is not a malfunction.
When you use the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app, you can change the sensitivity of the automatic audio detection and change the time until the Speak-to-Chat mode ends, in addition to switch the mode between enabled and disabled. In the factory settings, the time until the mode ends is set to about 15 seconds. Hope this helps! -Sam

The upper echelon sound quality in a completely wireless pair of ear buds blew me away. Sony has always been the top dog when it comes to noise cancelling and these certainly show why. The only minor con could be the battery life, but even that is on par with competitors. In my opinion, these are worth every penny.
