I am an avid Apple fan, and I came from the AirPods Pro which I had been using for a couple of months. THESE ARE ON A WHOLE DIFFERENT LEVEL. Sound is crisp and clear, and the noise cancellation *chef's kiss*, CAN'T BEAT IT. Absolutely worth every penny I spent on them.

From the first day, they won’t sync. One or the other will play. I use the app which does no good. It just says one or the other is not connected. They are comfortable if you only want to hear in one ear. The noise canceling works. In the left ear if that is the one that works on that day. DO NOT BUY THESE!

If the left and right buds don't sync or if the sound is only heard from one side of the headphones, please try following the steps below.

Resetting or Initializing the unit is also a recommendation.
Perform the reset on one earbud at a time. The device registration (pairing) information and other settings are retained during a reset.
Place an earbud into the charging case and then close the lid.
Use the supplied USB Type-C™ cable and a commercially available USB AC adapter to connect the charging case to a power outlet.
Open and close the lid of the charging case more than 5 times within 20 seconds until the red indicator light starts to flash.
Wait for the green indicator light flashes four times. Initialization is complete.
Remove the earbud from the charging case. Place the other earbud into the charging case, and then start the operation again from Step 1.

Best buds ever! Better than AirPods Pro

But these actually stay in my ear even when talking smiling or chewing! It’s a complete shocker and on top of that the sound literally is 0 times better than my AirPods Pro and my beats studio and the mic for phone calls are the best also so far. These are now my favorite earbuds!

• Change the earbud tips to ones that fit more snugly in your ears. When changing the earbud tips, try the earbud tip sizes in order from the larger ones to the smaller ones. The size of the left and right earbud tips may be different.

And I've had several JayBirds, Samsung, Apple Airpods, plus a few others. The noise-canceling was up to par when I flew with them, not quite as good as over-the-ear headphones but good enough to leave those at home if you would rather save the space.

Major Connectivity Issues

Multiple times today when putting my earphones in they would bug out. The voice would say “battery fullllllllllxncndjejdjcncnsbwjdkalqkqowproticndbwjwkkdfncjdkskns”. The voice glitches out and it happens often. The fit isn’t the greatest either. They’re smaller than the XM3 but they are still really big. Not very comfortable for more than 10 minutes or so. These will be returned immediately.

You can disable the notification and voice guidance, and change the language of the voice guidance using the SONY Headphone Connect app.
Change the earbud tips to ones that fit more snugly in your ears. When changing the earbud tips, try the earbud tip sizes in order from the larger ones to the smaller ones. I got 2 sets, one for work and one for home based on all the reviews I was reading at the time. After a software update the batteries would no longer charge to full. Left ear would only charge to 60% right ear only 70%. This happened to both sets. Now also drain rapidly and will only get a couple of hours, and the left ear runs out, then shortly after the other. Again this is in both sets of ear buds. Problem was not fixed after latter updates. The update permanently damaged the batteries. Sony refused to do anything to fix or replace. This was an obvious defect but I was a few months past warranty. So now I have over $600 paper weights. I ended up getting the Samsung pro 2 and they are great. No battery issues and I think they fit better in the ear.
