Not for folks with small ear canals

Unfortunately I was instantly disappointed because they wouldn't stay in my ears even for 10 seconds! I was never able to listen to music or test the noise canceling feature because the buds just wouldn't stay in place. I tried all three sets of the foam tips. Total flop! Sony, you need to come to the 21st century! Foam tips are so yesterday. They are useless. How about making silicone tips with wings. Those work for just about everybody. I even tried squeezing the foam to hopefully shove it into my ear canal. Fail! The foam actually began to fall apart! Returned these buds immediately. Huge disappointment.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We're sorry to hear that the unit had been returned due to unit is falling out while wearing the headphones. We understand that you already tried all the earbuds tips. To prevent it from falling, you may twist the headset unit to fit it snugly into the ear canal, adjust the positioning of the headset unit until it fits comfortably and wait for about 10 seconds for the earbud tip shape to stabilize. While driving a diesel dump truck I could barely here the clanging of the motor under acceleration. The sound is fantastic provided you get a snug fit with the included cups. So nice you cant hear the wind outside. I have very small ears so I was able to hear a bit but its so worth the money!!!! Its a battle with the bose QC 2 but wayyyyyy better than airpods for sure!

However, after a couple of weeks it worked out. I guess earholes needed to open up ;) I love my wh xm4s but these are great for low profile convenience with decent quality

Good Sound, Pitiful Battery Life for High End Buds

When they 'are' working, the sound is pretty good. They last about ten minutes after a full charge, down from thirty minutes a month ago. Come on, Sony! You need to do better.

To ensure optimal performance, as well as to obtain the best fit and prevent the headset from falling out, we highly recommend using the right size of earbuds according to the size of your ears or changing the earbud tips to ones that fit more snugly in your ears. To adjust the fit of the headset to your ears, twist the headset unit to fit it snugly into the ear canal, and adjust the positioning of the headset unit until it fits comfortably. These headphones have an ergonomic surface design for a better fit.

The only issue was that after 10 minutes of running the touch function on the earbuds would not work. Very frustrating when you are on a multi mile run. I returned them for the Bose quiet comforts.
