However, they are not built to last. Problems: They regularly disconnect during phone calls, the charging on the left earbud is messed up--it dies quickly but with a double tap it magically has 10%-20% charge which lasts a second to a minute, the left earbud regularly overheats when charging, when the earbuds are in and I'm not actively listening to anything either earbud will randomly amplify external sounds... They are not worth the cost.

We're so sorry to hear you are having issues with your WF-1000XM4 Truly Wireless Noise-Canceling Earbuds, particularly with the battery life and occasionally disconnects during a call. To resolve this issue, make sure to update the headphones' software to the latest version. Doing so may resolve the issue.

The rate of battery consumption may vary between the left and right earbuds depending on the settings of various functions and the conditions of use. Also, if you enable some functions, the operating time will be shorter.

No help from Sony because out of warranty. Probably why Best Buy had them for a discounted price so Sony could dump their defective product. I will never purchase another Sony product again and shame on Best Buy for letting this happen

The sound quality is excellent and these fit much better than the Apple pods. The quality of the earbuds and case feels rather "cheap" compared to the Apple products. I purchased a Spigen protective case for the charging case for security as well as substance. The Sony app is "ok" and not as intuitive or integrated as the homegrown Apple app. At this price point, the Sony's should be on the top of your list when shopping for eabuds.

They don’t sound as good as the previous generation. Call quality is still an issue for Sony. These do stay in your ear and can be use for any activity. Great noise cancellation. Hopefully with future software updates Somme of these issues will be resolved.

Posted .Hi ShoppingQN123, We regret to hear you're having an issue with the fit of these headphones. We provide an assortment of earbuds in various sizes to ensure there is a great fit for all ear sizes. To obtain a comfortable and stable fit, try the following.
Change the earbud tips to ones that fit more snugly in your ears. When changing the earbud tips, try the earbud tip sizes in order from the larger ones to the smaller ones. The size of the left and right earbud tips may be different.
The “Sony | Headphones Connect” app will help you to determine which earbud tips are most suitable for you to achieve the optimal noise cancellation effect.
Referring to step 2, check if the headset is properly worn on your ears. Wear the headset so that the earbud tip is comfortably situated as deep in the ear canal as possible.
