The noise cancelling feature worked well. After doing a firmware update there was a high pitched sound that wouldn't go away so that's why I returned it.

Sony Linkbuds S are better

I am not a fan of the memory foam tips, I much prefer normal rubber/silicon tips. Sound quality is fine. ANC is good. I went with the Sony Linkbuds S over these and I am much happier.

The one thing o don’t like about the headphones is that they are touch sensitive. So if I adjust they pause and I have not figured out how to move to next track from the headphones. That to me is annoying

The charging case is the perfect size, they boast 8 hours of use with ANC on and up to 12 hours with it off. And a 5 minute stint in the charging case will give you an hour of use when you run low. The Sound-field is spacious, bass and treble are fantastic. ANC is great and the smaller size when compared to the previous generation is a welcome change. With the best app that I’ve used for any headphone type, the XM4’s are a no brainer.

Not a proper fit for my ears

They sounded great but would work as needed for noise cancelling. Just did not fit me with the different buds available so was not able to get the proper fit.

Ear canals vary in size from person to person, and can also vary in size from the left to the right sides. After selecting the right size of the earbud tips, we also recommend wearing the earbuds properly.
Gently pull up on the top of your ears, put the earbud tips in your ear canal, and then twist the earbuds into place. This makes sure the earbuds are firmly in the ear canal.
