Great for the first year but has gone down hill

All of a sudden they only last about 45 minutes each with the case only lasting long enough to charge them once. Sound and ANC are still great but they simply don't last. I think the batteries have gone bad because I used to wirelessly charge them and they'd overheat. However, wireless charging is a feature of the buds and shouldn't damage them. Also, they can be very uncomfortable when you have them in for a while and the charging case feels incredibly flimsy.

To obtain a comfortable and stable fit, try to change the earbud tips to ones that fit more snugly in your ears. When changing the earbud tips, try the earbud tip sizes in order from the larger ones to the smaller ones. The size of the left and right earbud tips may be different.

I actually bought the Bose Quiet Comfort earbuds at the same time so I could compare the two. I preferred the soft foam of the Sony over the rubber of the Bose because it provided a better seal in my ear canal and seemed like it would stay put. After 4 months the foam is breaking down and seems to soak up moisture. Inside of the earpieces also seem to be breaking down and I'm losing volume in both earpieces. I ended up returning the Bose earbuds because the Sony seemed immediately better but I think long term the Bose would be a better purchase.

The foam materials used in the earbud tips deteriorate through long-term use and storage, and depending on the usage and environment. We suggest replacing the earbud tips if the deterioration results in reduced performance. With regard to breaking or losing volume, we can set the unit to “Priority on stable connection” mode, if set to they are set to "sound quality mode". Make sure no there are obstacles between the antenna of the connecting Bluetooth device and the antennas built into the left and right units of the headset. Soooo disapointed - Stay away !

I was hesitant between this one and the Airpods Pro... Worst choise from me... The noise canceling is so low, so far from Apple, almost non-existent... It's more a passive isolation than active noise canceling... And the sound? Bad too... I have a Jabra Elite Active 75t which is better in both sound and noise canceling for almost half the price... I'm feeling really scammed by this product... I can't return it because I was traveling for 4 weeks and Best Buy return is only 2 weeks... Total lost of money ! :-(
