Noise cancelling when i need them to be. Or if im at work and wanna listen to music but still need to be able to hewr my coworkers i can. I love them. 1-10 i would rate easily a 9. There alittle bulky for my small ears. But other than that i am very pleased with my purchase and will gladly buy the next upgraded ones they come out with.
