It is unfortunate that we can no longer help you and turn this into a better experience. However, to keep the headphones from falling out, please select the right size earbud tips. We also recommend wearing the earbuds properly.
Gently pull up on the top of your ears, put the earbud tips in your ear canal, and then twist the earbuds into place. This makes sure the earbuds are firmly in the ear canal

Sony provides two applications to make setting up and using the in-ear headphones easy: Headphones and Music Center. Headphones makes pairing the headphones simple while Music Center allows access to various music streaming apps you may have. The headphones fit my ears nicely using the medium size in-ear pods. Small and large aizes come packaged with the in-ear headphones. The Headphone App provides an equalizer to help you select the sound settings you determine to be best for you. I like deep bass and bright voices and found it very easy to set that up using the equalizer in the app. An instruction video is available online. Noise cancelling can be adjusted to allowing ambient sound in or for total noise canceling. A voice chat function is available to interrupt the sound so you can talk to someone without pulling the headphones out of your ear. Noise cancelling and ambient can be toggled by tapping on the left earbud once; a double tap on the left earbud allows you to receive a call/finish a call; tap and continue pressing the left earbud rejects a call. The right earbud controls music/sound playing: one tap to play or pause; double tap to go to advance to next song or receive/finish a call; tap and continue pressing to launch the voice assist function or reject a call. The Sony In-Ear Headphones are equipped with Sony 360 Reality Audio. This technology provides amazing spatial sound that takes these headphones to a new level. A 90-day trial to Sony 360 sound streaming services is included allowing the user to choose a provider such as Tidal. The Sony WF-1000MX4 Headphones come with a USB-C cable to charge the earbuds in their very nicely designed case. The batteries are good for 8 hours of use before recharging. The case can be used to recharge the in-ear headphones up to 16 hours of total use.

The WF-1000XM4 features an Ergonomic surface design for a stable & comfortable fit. If you feel earbud tips are difficult to put into your ears, change the size of earbud tips or squeeze earbud tips lightly before wearing the headset.

WF-1000XM4 Battery Turns Bad after 10 months

The WF1000XM4 comes with different sizes of earbud tips so that you can achieve the maximum effects of the earbuds. To keep the headphones from falling out, please select the right size earbud tips. For me these were not it. The sound they produced, did not compare to my Bose or AirPods Pro. The seal was non existent and the tips were very uncomfortable. I purchased a pair of the new beats and those are a much better fit and they sound great for their price. Sony hit the white boards and produce something that will dethrone the AirPods and at the very least the beats studio buds.

Only 3 size ear cap does not fit at all and not comfy. If you wear more than 3 hrs yoyr ear getting hurt. 2. Quality of sound is not expectes.. 3. ANC is not good... not at all you still hearing 4. It does not work as independent unit unless tou disable google assistant but not in manual. 5. Touch is not good at all. 6. Apps not working good either. Overall do not spend this much money on this.

The WF-1000XM4 comes with different sizes of earbuds to ensure there is a great fit for all ear sizes and an optimal noise canceling experience. As a suggestion, to reduce discomfort while wearing the headphones, try to use the right size according to the size of your ears. The size of the left and right earbud tips may be different. When wearing them, please gently pull on the top of your ear as you twist the earbud into your ear. This should give you a firmer hold and better noise canceling experience.
