Battery depreciation, throw away I guess......

They started off working most of the work day. Now I've had to change my profile to let the left be the dominant one and I'll probably have to buy another 250 dollar pair in a few more months. Sound was great. Disposable, expensive headphones suck.

While it is normal for the battery consumption rate to vary somewhat between the left and right earbuds due to function settings and conditions of use, a significant difference between the earbuds, when regularly used together, should not occur.

Noise canceling is absolutely fabulous it doesn’t matter what’s going on in the background. Music sounds fabulous there’s an app with an equalizer to make any adjustments. LADC on or off. Ear Buds connect to Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra using MQA USB Audio Player and Tidal Master tracks. I connect Ear Buds to Windows 11 Tidal app installed same issues. Using Sony Connected app adjusting the EQ setting same issues with the treble decrease. 5 hours listening auto powered off. Going to return item and tryout the Bose Flagship Earbuds

No fit issues for me though some say they are not as comfortable as some other buds but I find them to be the best fitting earbuds I've ever had. Perfect. They sound amazing too. Better than the Airpods pro which I have also tried. I also tried the pixel buds pro but they had latency issues when connected to my TV and everything was out of sync. These have no issue with that. They also didn't fit my ear as well as these do. I'm very happy with my purchase. I think I've found the perfect pair of earbuds for me. If your considering these then go for it. Especially at a discounted price.

Why all the fuss about the "awkward" fit?

These fit my tiny ears perfectly and they're the ONLY buds without wingtips that fit and stay in my ears without falling out. I've tried many and these are the only ones. As far as sound quality goes they're top notch. The bass is a bit lower than the SP800n I own but the M4s highs and lows and sound quality are much better.

I'm a trance music lover and I mostly listen to trance music which is 120 to 140 BPM music, its not the beats you're listening, there are various instruments playing in the track while you're listening. I literally could listen to the background music or vocals that I did not hear all this time with other headphones (totally depends on the song you're listening to). I've had experience with all the major headphones and the premium ear buds but the performance of the XM4's is top notch. The best noise cancellation ear buds in the market right now. The speak to chat feature is next level. The memory foam ear pieces are good but delicate, I love how they fit in my ears with no zero pain. I don't see the need for multipoint Bluetooth feature in my day to day life which is why 5 star, otherwise 4.5. Sound quality - 9.5 Active Noise Cancellation - 9.5 Microphone performance - 8 Controls on the XM4s - 9

Battery is defective

The left earbud battery lasts only 15 mins now with a fully charged battery. After some research I saw it was a common issue with other buyers. I tried to reach out to sony customer service via their chat and their agent just exited the conversation because he couldn't find a solution to my issue. Sony customer service is GARBAGE. Save your money try a different brand or cheaper earbuds.
