Small and light with great performance
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sony WFC510 Truly Wireless earphones were a very pleasant surprise. I say this for a few reasons. So often as a consumer, we base quality on price point. You are naturally going to assume something priced at $50-100 is going to be inferior to another item priced at double or triple that price point. It’s how we are taught to think as a customer. Let me start by saying I have all sorts of earphones and headphones, from a variety of household names. I’ll also say I’m very picky about things going in my ears. I’ve always hated any silicone style cups that I had to put in my ears. Sure I liked the noise cancellation aspect of it, but I hated the feeling of the cups in my ears. And this includes several expensive brands. Also, most of them stick out and some have some weight to them. And most don’t say in my ears well, even with simple activities like walking or lifting at the gym. Enter the Sony WFC510. First thing I immediately liked was the size of them as well as how light weight they are. The charging box is equally small and light weight. The easily fit in your pocket and are not noticeable. And they fit well in my ears and don’t bother me. The noise cancellation aspect works well. The Vivos easily block the ambient noise. Am no audiophile and I don’t pretend to be. But I really like the sound these produce. For a $50 pair of earphones this they simply exceed my expectations by a lot. The earphones claim an 11 hour battery life? To be honest I didn’t push them that far yet. But in case you do, you get another 11 hours out of the case. That’s not too shabby for these. Pairing these to my iPhone was simple as well and I have zero complications with it so far. They stay connected and I’ve yet to lose my connection. I’m going to include some photos in my write up here. You will see the charging box is pretty sweet. But I added a pencil for scale to show you just how small the earphones are. So, at the end of the day I’m a fan. I have not tried to push things hard with the earphones yet, but in will as the opportunity appears. But I would highly recommend this to someone looking for an inexpensive option that is a great value for the price point. Thanks for reading.

Great earbuds with the right price!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sony Truly Wireless Earbuds are a nice set of earbuds for the price. You can really do a lot with these earbuds than mose earbuds in this price range by using the Sony app. Right out of the box, you get the earbuds, charging case and two sets of silicone earbud tips. The first thing I noticed was that it didn't come with a charging cord. At first, I was a little miffed, but then I remembered I have so many and I really didn't need an extra one. It was very easy to to download the app from by scanning the QR code on the instruction booklet. I followed the instructions and was up and running in just a few minutes. It took about a minute to pair - but the earbuds were "speaking" to me in each ear one at a time so I knew it was doing something. The app does a lot. It tells you the battery life of each earbud, lets you turn on/off ambient sound, change the Equalizer to 9 different sounds or make custom sounds. It also will analyze your ear shape with the 360 Reality Audio Setup. It is supposed to provide an immersive experience as if you are at a liver performance. It gives a sample and it was huge difference. It does require another app that supports 360 Reality audio and I believe they are subscription based - so I have not done it. The app will also track you listening history and more. I don't have any other earbuds that do this. The sound quality is very nice. The battery life is 11 hours and charge in 1.5 hours. They work with Google Assistant and Siri. They are waterproof - so great for the gym!

A lot for a little
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sony WFC510 Truly Wireless Earbuds are an excellent choice if you do not require noise canceling earbuds. I ended up putting the largest tips on them to get the best seal and sound from these earbuds. While these earbuds do not have noise canceling, they do an excellent job of blocking a substantial amount of noise. They also have an Ambient Sound option, which allows the sounds around you to be picked up through the earbuds to help you be more aware of your surroundings. I know sound is subjective, but in my opinion they have an excellent sound to them out of the box, but the Sony Sound connect app allows you to dial in the sound more to your liking. I found the "Excited" preset to be the sweet spot for me. The app also allows you to customize the earbud button presses as well. You also get access to Sony's 360 Reality Audio, which sounds amazing from the sample, but from what I cant tell, only four apps support it, and aren't that popular. You also get enough battery life to last most of the day. The microphone is decent for phone calls too. I don't recommend taking calls in noisy situations. It they do work very well for the most part. Overall the WF510's are a great deal, and I would definitely recommend them.

Budget Sony? Budget quality.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sony is usually known for high quality devices and some of the latest technology. However, these headphones feel like one of those other budget brands with a Sony label. The design is simple and fits pretty comfortably in the ear. Sound quality is decent and you can modify it further with the Sound Connect app. The charging case is kind of slim and does provide a full charge with the earbuds lasting up to 11 hours on a single charge. However, that is about it for the positive aspects I have for these earbuds. It feels like I have had better budget headphones by companies that are known for budget products and give the same quality for half the price. The touch controls are probably the most annoying thing I find for them. You have to click one ear bud 3 times to have it turn up a slight bit and keep doing that over and over to adjust the volume further. I find this really annoying and it’s not convenient at all. Plus pushing into the ear over and over starts to disrupt the comfort they had. These can be used individually, but I have had a couple times now where I pull the second one out shortly after the first and have no audio from it. Although the controls worked, the audio did not. Putting them back in the case and pulling them out at the same time worked best and most of the time even at separate times it would still sync, but it was those times it didn’t that made it an issue. Plus, using them 1 at a time means you leave half of the push button functions behind as they are split between them. There are some really minor modifications you can do to the buttons in the app, but no real customization. The app does allow you to customize the EQ to your liking and has a feature to analyze your ear shape with a series of photos for “360 reality audio”. However, it is limited to specific apps. Unlike something like Dolby Atmos where it just works with the device and any audio from that device. You can also enable Sony’s Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) to enhance low quality audio sources and you can prioritize Bluetooth sound quality over connection status. Another setting that can be changed with a single touch of the left earbud or enabled through the app is the ambient sound mode. It is so light that you barely notice it unless you have nothing playing. It can make the difference between hearing a car horn or not, but it’s not like some other devices that enhance the ambient sound so you can hear it clearer. It can be a good thing though because you don’t want every sound coming through on your music, I just don’t think you will hear much unless it is an obvious loud sound. You can connect these to 2 devices, but it is still 1 or the other as one takes priority with the sound, sometimes taking a couple seconds for it to realize the other device is no longer playing audio. Overall, they aren’t the worst headphones I have ever used, I just feel disappointed in what I usually expect from Sony. The controls are clunky and not very intuitive. They do have a decent battery life for their size, but only 1 full recharge from the case. I feel like I have had better from other budget brands.

Posted .Hi DavidJr,
Thank you for taking the time to review your WF-C510 Truly Wireless Earbuds. We're sorry to hear it hasn't performed to your standards when it comes to the touch operations and you find it not intuitive. We want to make sure you are getting the most out of your headphones. Your feedback about the touch controls and design is greatly appreciated. Having read your review regarding the fundamental features, instead of tap gesture for volume and track controls, these earbuds have physical buttons located on the left and right unit that you can press to control music playback and phone calls. You can seamlessly switch your sound, thanks to multipoint connection. So, if you're listening to music on one device, and a call comes in on another, your music is automatically paused and the call is switched from the other device. Your music then automatically resumes once the call is complete. Please note that the multipoint interoperability and compatibility among Bluetooth devices vary. And 360 Reality Audio requires a subscription to a compatible online music service, and third party terms, conditions, account, and fees may apply.
We recommended updating the firmware of the headphones (via the Sony Sound Connect app) for optimum performance. A separate article is available if there is no sound or sound skips when using the WF-C510 headphones on this link here:

Good Sound, Great Battery, Comfortable Fit!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sony WF-C510 earbuds are a great everyday pair of wireless earbuds that strike a nice balance between price, performance, and comfort. They may not have all the premium features of Sony’s higher-end models, but they deliver reliable sound and battery life that make them worth considering if you’re looking for something practical and dependable. ⚠️ Things to Note No active noise cancellation (ANC) — only passive isolation. Bass lovers might find the sound a bit light. Microphone performance is okay for indoor calls but average in windy or noisy places. ✅ Final Thoughts If you’re looking for a dependable, great-sounding pair of earbuds for daily use — work, workouts, or travel — the Sony WF-C510s are a solid choice. They’re not flashy, but they do the fundamentals right: clear sound, long battery life, and comfortable fit.

The perfect blend of comfort, style, and sound! ⭐️
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have tried many earbuds, but the Sony WF C510s stand out for how effortlessly they fit into my routine. The sound quality is crisp and balanced, giving every song from soft acoustic to bass heavy pop a rich and full presence. They are incredibly comfortable too. I can wear them through long work shifts, workouts, and walks without ever needing to readjust. The lightweight design feels almost invisible, yet they stay secure no matter what I am doing. Battery life easily lasts all day, and the quick charge feature has saved me more than once when I forgot to plug them in. Even without active noise cancellation, the seal blocks enough background sound to stay focused without feeling isolated. Overall, the WF C510s deliver premium quality and comfort at a price that feels almost too good to be true. Sony really got the balance right with these.

My favorite line of earbuds
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Several years ago, I bought Sony's WFC500 from Best Buy for $60. At the time, I just needed some earbuds that wouldn't break the bank, but they ended up becoming my favorite earbuds. I've replaced those with these WCF510s and I love these for the same reasons. Why do I love these so much? Because they just WORK. Are these the greatest bass bumping, audiophile earbuds on the market? No. But the sound is good enough, they're comfortable, they're low profile for my small ears, they have simple controls, I've rarely ever had to even think about the battery life, they've been nothing but reliable and I was able to get all of that for a fraction of the cost of other options. Strong recommendation from me.

Very good even though without ANC
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good sound quality as I expect from Sony. I am surprise even without active noise cancelling, it mutes the ambient noise excellently. The bass is strong but not overwhelming. The mid and high are very accurate, clear and crisp. It does have Ambient mode where it amplifies the surrounding sound coming from the mic to the ear bud’s driver/speaker. The product comes with the earbuds, a charging case, two extra set of ear tips of size small and large and a reference guide. The already installed ear tips are of size medium. It does not come with a usb-c cable. The reference guide is just three images and a QR code. Scanning the QR code with your phone will open a web page titled Quick Start Guide. The page has a link to the mobile app that must be used to setup and connect to the ear buds. The refence guide says to download the Sony Headphones Connect app but the quick start guide on the web page says to download the Sound Connect app which is the new name for the app. The quick start guide web page shows three steps, step one, remove the ear buds from the case and wear it by inserting and twisting anti-clockwise so it goes deep inside the ear canal, this is important else it won't sound good. Step two, download the app, run it and follow the instruction on the app to connect the ear buds to your phone. Step three is about how to operate the ear buds such as press once on the left ear piece to turn the Ambient sound mode on or off. The Quick Start Guide operating instruction is accurate. I tested all and they all work correctly but it does have about one second delay, example, press once to start stop a music track, it will delay about one second before the command is executed. Note the app will try to sell you the 360 Reality Audio by playing a clip of music to show you how it will make music sound better and immersive. It does sound very good and make it feels like you are in a wide sound stage. The normal clip it used as an example, I felt they purposedly make it sound awful and stuffy. Don't fall for it, listen to your own music before you decide, this ear buds does sound very good without the 360 Reality Audio add on. So minus one star. The case is of rectangular shape, pretty compact measuring 2.7 inch long by 0.95 inch wide by 1.1 inch height. It is a good size except I feel it is a bit too tall. I am happy with this ear buds as it is of very good value.

Great option!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really like these little buds. They offer good sound quality at an affordable price point. Having accidentally recycled my AirPods I was not into spending on Apple again. Honestly the AirPods didn't suit my ears as well. These WFC510 earbuds fit nice and snug and I really don't feel them moving around at all. Often I am using just one as I am big on multitasking and I really don't need to crank up the volume. Happy with this purchase. --Forgot to mention that there are great color options, I went with yellow! (Light blue nice as well.) The case is a small profile, they charge quick and keep plenty of charge/use til the next power up. My son tried them and liked them so much we returned to the store for another pair for him. No complaints.

Excellent sound, with one annoying flaw
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These ear buds were very light, small, and a cool color. They also blocked out most of the outside noise with their strong seal. However, it is this seal that caused some problems. Like most of Sony's wired earbud offerings, the ear tips seem to cause a lot of noise where you can hear the "thump! thump!" of your own foot steps and sometimes even your own pulse when working out. Some other brands don't seem to have as much of this problem. To make matters worse, the seal on these was so strong I even felt a little "pop" like when you change elevations as I was removing these. Wearing them too long alos caused a little dizziness which is weird because I never have vertigo. I switched back to my other pair by another brand and I did not experience any of these problems. (I did try sizing down the ear tips once but this just caused the already tiny buds to slip out of my ear.) I hope if Sony release these in the future, they address what appears to be the ear tips so that there is less "noise" when walking and the seal is not so tight. Maybe a more breathable material is needed. I really really wanted to keep these because they were the perfect size and actually had great sound quality! I was surprised. I also really love Sony products. I even tried the CF 710? And those had less of the thump problem and "suction" in the ear tips. SO if you must have Sony and have the extra budget, give those a try!

Immersive, great quality audio
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These earbuds are the "in your ear" type of headphones. This means that for them to work well, you have to put them deep in your ear so that they create the surround sound and bass that is intended for them. The app includes an equalizer and also a 360° spatial Sound mode where it feels like you're listening to the sounds from your brain or your head. It also feels like you are in a concert or that stuff is happening around you. There is a marked difference between the sound that you get with and without the 360° sound. I was very impressed by its quality. The equalizer modes really do distinguish between the highs, lows, mids and bass. I like the carrying/charging case as well. It is small but very practical, cool in the app. You are also able to see the charge level of each ear. The reasons that I am giving it 4 stars and not 5 is because when I put it into my ear, after a while, I do feel the headphone push against the back side of my ear opening, which made it a little bit uncomfortable. The second reason is that the app 360 degree sound requests a photo of your ear to do a personalized sound profile, which i found a little funny. I only tested the sample 360 degree sounds. That said, I would definitely favor these headphones to do things like exercising, jogging, and perhaps even using them on a plane ride when wanting to save space. These are not noise-canceling but when you are listening to music and they are deep in your ear, they do a very good job at blocking out noise. These earphones have a pass through mode that allows you to listen to the outside well and this is a very handy feature because it saves you from having to take them off when you want to listen to your environment. Overall, I do like them a lot and would just recommend Sony make them a little more ergonomic, or in this case "EARgonomic" :)

We're glad that you like most of the features and feel immersed in sound all around you, as if you were at a live concert or with the artist recording in a studio. With 360 Reality Audio, music has never been so immersive and so real. Your feedback regarding the fit is greatly appreciated. The WF-C510 comes with different sizes of hybrid silicone rubber earbud tips to suit different ear shapes. As a suggestion, to reduce discomfort while wearing the headset, change the earbud tips to another size to comfortably and snugly fit your left and right ears. Great value headphones with incredible battery
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the WFC510's in a baby blue which is a nice change to white or black as most earbuds. Time will tell how dirty they show. Not a fan of white headphones traditionally for that. The buds come in a very compact case that looks very sleek (picture with anywhere mouse for reference) comes with a charge cord and a few size tips to swap depending on your ear size Setup is incredibly easy, as soon as i pulled them out of of the case, a popup on my phone came on asking if i want to pair, selected yes and away we go. the Sound Connect app is pretty straight forward to use. you can view playtime, battery for each bud and case, adjust ambient settings the battery is great on this. Especially if you turn ambient sound off. To test the battery life i put on a 10+ hour YouTube video and let it go. After the first 8 hours, the buds were at 50%. i put them back in the case to get back to 100%. once they were recharged, (which didn't' take very long) the case was still at 70% remaining. after another 8 hours i was back down to about 50%. based on this and the fact that i could probably do this 2 more times with the case, i could likely get away charging this only once per week easily based on how much they'd get used at work or during activities. My only complaint is the lack of ANC. There is only Ambient sound and nothing. However, when set to nothing, i can't hear much. They fit so well into my ear and make a tight seal that i can't hear much, so its close enough. For the price, can't really complain about that. i rarely use ANC with my other headphones anyways unless i'm on a plane or train

Excellent Sony Sound
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sony WFC510 are a great set of wireless earbuds. I like the mechanical button versus the soft touch that work only about 50% of the time for me. Sound quality is fantastic as you would expect from Sony. These do have the 360 Audio certification, however, I couldn’t get it to work like my on-ear-headphones do. There are not a lot of apps that currently work with it, so it is a limited feature and does require a separate app to use. The Sony SoundConnect app allows you to change settings and features of the earbuds. The only options for Ambient noise is On or Off, there is not an option to block out ambient noise, only let it through. The feature did sound natural not like you are hearing through a speaker like some other earbuds I have used do. There is nothing about these earbuds that draws me to them or causes a pause for consideration. I don’t think you can go wrong with buying them as again the main feature…sound, is on point and delivers. Call quality was good and background noise was minimized for my callers. Looking at the price bracket these fall in, they are definitely a top choice among the others. I’ve never had a Sony speaker that didn’t sound great and the WFC510’s carry on that expectation of quality. I can definitely recommend them. The blue color is a lot lighter, leaning towards more pastel/soft blue.
