For optimum performance, make sure that the software version of the headphones is up-to-date (via the Sony Sound Connect app). When using the touch controls, make sure to press the earbuds properly. I purchased a different pair and wasn't happy with them, so I exchanged them for these ones and had excellent customer service. I definitely recommend them. I prefer these ones because there are not noise cancelling so I can stay somewhat aware of my surroundings.
