I spend days researching and testing various headphones with and without noise-canceling features. This came on the top of the list and I order them along with Beats and Bose (for my kids), now we could very successfully social distance from each other without hearing each other. I am very happy with this product and it has been working very nicely so far...

Bought these headphones for their advertised noise cancelling capabilities. The advertisements were correct. These headphones truly block out most of the noise around you. I was especially pleased with the reduction of spoken noise around me, e.g. television, radio, and individual conversations. I am very interested to see how well these headphones will block out airplane noise.

It took me a while to set these up, but after hearing the sound they offer was well worth it. The sound is awesome and superb with an app where you can control the bass, treble, etc. The only qualm I have is that they tend to heat up your ears after listening for an hour or longer. But with the sound they offer, that is definitely not that big of a deal.

I was hesitant spending this much on headphones. I was sitting in a restaurant and the noise canceling was amazing. I was sitting with my music turned down so I could work and was shocked when I took the headphones off. Sure, I could hear some background noise but, until I took the headphones off, I had forgotten how loud the restaurant's music was or how loud the people around me were.

My only experience with a noise canceling headphones was a 10 year old BOSE pair which was good, but I haven’t compared Sony’s pair with a current BOSE pair. However, Sony’ s headphones are great beacause it is very easy to switch between Apple devices: iPhone, iPad, and MacBook Pro. I also love that it is wireless. It noise canceling works very well in a room with the tv volume blaring.

The sound coming out of this earphones are great period. The noise cancellation is effective. The price is without a doubt costly, but this earphone does not disappoint.

Compared to Beats, Bose, and other brands i've owned this one takes it home for the win. I got lucky and got it on sale but even at full price they are way above quality sound vs beats and bose. They also come with a nice app ro compliment all the features this baby comes with.

Great quality sound and it works just like all the other BT headphones out there. Is the sound quality perfect? Not a chance. Why? Because everyone has a different preference for EQ. Thankfully the mobile app lets you configure the EQ to a degree. My main complaint is in the lifespan of the product. The headband is made from plastic, so that makes me feel the need to be extra cautious with the headphones. The ear cups don’t seem easily replaceable and I haven’t found parts for it online. I believe that if you’re going to pay $350 for a pair of headphones, there should be availability to purchase replacement parts.

Excellent headphones that cut out most all background noise. Easy features allow you to control how much noise cancellation you want and touch features on the headphones themselves work great to control the device you are listening to from the headphones. Bluetooth has great range (up to 30ft without breaking up). Overall these headphones are great.

I did quite a bit of research before I bought these headphones,and I have to say, The sound is incredible. Nice bass response too. The noise canceling feature works perfectly. I use these on my computer,so I haven't had a chance to use all the phone features, but have seen several videos demonstrating these. I am a musician/audiofile,so these Sony headphones are well worth the price!

I have always been a Bose man; the salesperson talked me into trying this Sony model; the sound is excellent and turning off the noise cancel is as easy as touching your ear; it comes with a cord in case the batteries rundown but overall a really nice set of headphones; the features are a little better than Bose - but the sound is 98%ish of Bose

My wife and I were debating between these headphones, Beats and Bose. The store associate convinced us that sony was better and we are very happy. You can cup your hand over the right earpiece which will turn down the music and allow you to hear external noise. Perfect for flights to hear crew instructions or pilot announcements. And the sound is incredible. I highly recommend.

These things sound fantastic, work very well on music, phone, and whatever I am doing. My phone seems to pipe that audio on thru to my ears. You Tube, and whatever the apps come in loud and clear. Luv the controls on the right earpiece, and the noise cancelling is awesome. Long range as well. I do hear the occasional creaking sounds from the band though. Thx Sony!!

I returned the Bose 700 for the Sony M3. My decision did not disappoint. The Sony has better sound quality and the app gives more variety of sound options than the Bose 700. Sony M3's are certainly a game changer. Bose need to step it up a notch. Especially for the $399 they are charging for the Bose 700. Sony M3 are much cheaper and a better sounding headphone.

My wife and I both sold our Bose noise canceling headphones after auditioning the Sonys. Best sound and equal of not better noise cancelling. The app let's you tune the headphones to your surroundings and the external volume, skip, and forward gestures are ingenuous. My favorite perk though is being able to cup the ear to temporarily pause noise canceling to be able to hear someone.

I went back and forth between these and the Bose headphones that are around the same price point. After talking to one of the best buy employees who recommended them to me, I decided to pick these over the Bose. So far I've had no regrets. They work great, have a bunch of amazing features that can be fine tuned using the app, and are very comfortable even for long durations.
