I went back and forth between these and the Bose headphones that are around the same price point. After talking to one of the best buy employees who recommended them to me, I decided to pick these over the Bose. So far I've had no regrets. They work great, have a bunch of amazing features that can be fine tuned using the app, and are very comfortable even for long durations.

I am extremely happy with theses headphones. The sound quality is excellent. The noise canceling works as they describe in all of their literature. Some people expect them to block all outside noise. I do not think there is any device short of a quite room that will do that. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a quality pair of headphones.

My wife and I both sold our Bose noise canceling headphones after auditioning the Sonys. Best sound and equal of not better noise cancelling. The app let's you tune the headphones to your surroundings and the external volume, skip, and forward gestures are ingenuous. My favorite perk though is being able to cup the ear to temporarily pause noise canceling to be able to hear someone.

These are definitely the latest in technology I used these on several airplanes and it significantly reduces the loudness of the plane itself and the crowds onboard! Just by touching the side you can hear disable the noise cancel for quick hearing and responses! If you want something of real high class quality these are what you are looking for!

I bought these because I'm currently forced to work remotely. With daycare also closed, there is no peace and quiet in my home. I put these on anytime I need to focus to get work done, as well as when I'm in calls/meetings. The noise canceling works great to block out background noise. The only feature I wish was different: to turn on the noise canceling, you need to push a button that doesn't always seem responsive. Previous headphones I've owned had a switch to turn noise canceling on/off, which was slightly easier. Overall, great headphones.

This is by first purchase of premium headphones and I couldn’t be happier. I am in college and due to Covid-19 all my classes are online. With a busy household noice cancelling is imperative in order to concentrate on lectures. The range is amazing. I can walk outside and across the street with music still playing crisp. Highly recommend.

Great sound quality. They have a small frame but big sound and , they have enough battery life to last a couple of days even with the active sound canceling turned on

Love it and works better than Bose QC35 II. Very light and great sound quality

I've very happy with the XM3's, so much so that I returned the Bose QCII's. In my opinion, the comfort is slightly below that of the QCii's, but the ANC is better. Sound quality a little bass-heavy, but I was able to get great sound via the Sony app/EQ. And to be honest, the more I listen without the EQ enabled, the more I like them. I had originally purchased the Bose, then the Sony's, for when I needed noise cancellation, but I like the XM3s so much that I find myself reaching for them regardless of my ANC needs. They do get a little hot when moving around, but I notice the same with other closed headphones.

Sound is great! It was a tie between these and the Bose QC 35. I love the touch headphone feature. It can be frustrating when trying to adjust the volume because it doesn’t always register the slide of the finger. Ambient sound mode is great because what I’m listening to is still loud but if I need to be aware of my surroundings I can be. Love that the case is built well also

Putting these headphones on for the first time and actually HEARING the world go away (noise that is) was beyond belief for me! I knew I had to buy them but the price actually made me think for a little while--never thought I would spend $350 for headphones--yes, I know there are others that cost much more--but I'm cheap! LOL I LOVE these headphones, really worth the money!
