picture this... you are on a looong international flight. There is a fantastic family on this flight as well. And the kids jump around, scream, talk loudly... the entire flight. Then you put on the headphones and fall asleep in total peace and quiet. What more can I say

These headphones are great. I actually bought a pair of Bose QC35 II’s first, but ended up returning them due to poor sound quality. I then bought these and there is a night and day difference between the two. Highly recommend getting these over any other Bluetooth headphones in this price range.

I have both the Bose and these Sony headsets, and these headsets are better overall. Bose are a little more comfortable. I traveled to Germany right after buying my Sony headset in February and was shocked to find them $100 cheaper In Germany. It’s usually the other way around.

Good music output and noise cancelling technology and Light weight. Good technology. Easy to connect in the bluetooth.

These are great for people that dislike sound. Right out of the box they are amazing! Noise canceling, simply the best you can buy in my opinion. Only one con, you can only connect one Bluetooth at a time. But very happy with this purchase.

At first I felt if this headphone would fulfil my need of a quality headphone which has to be long term investment and still prove it's worth with it's tech and sound quality. I would certainly say that it has taken over all the headphones in market to become this good.

By far, these are the best over the ear noise canceling headphones in the market (Still)! Over the past few years I’ve tried several brands but Sony is on top of the competition. Quality, comfort but most of all the best function and best sound quality!

Recently bought these for my wife. I have the previous model 2's and love them. On a recent trip we swapped headphones and I found the same comfortable fit. Noise reduction seems better on the newer model although both are excellent. Easy to use and travel case is great for storing. Overall great product.

I got these for one reason only: type-c charging. These have stronger noise cancelling than the Windows Surface headphones. The touch interface I don't really care that much. The down-side I found on the Bose QC35 was micro-B charging. So at the end, it's a matter of choice.

Very crispy sound, no bluetooth issues at all. Connects to the TV and makes that bad boy sound like you're in a theater without angering my mother (he's a little hard of hearing). 10/10

Without a doubt the most comfortable and best noise canceling headphones I’ve ever used. I have used these almost all day at work, in an office, in a manufacturing environment. Typically I have to turn the music up loud on my wired ear buds to drown out the rattle of the conveyor belts in the background. With the noise canceling on, music off, I can barely make out any sounds at all wearing the Sony WH-1000XM3’s. Pros: -Amazing noise canceling. There is a dedicated physical button that allows you to switch between noise canceling, ambient noise, and noise canceling off. The ambient noise allows some sounds through. It seems like the louder the sound it, the more likely it is to be passed through to the headphones. With it off, sounds are still a bit muffled. -Sound is crisp and customizable. You take for granted how outside noises can affect the clarity and crispness of what you’re listening to. I’ve used the app that can be downloaded for free from the app store to increase the bass and customize the headphones to my personal use. The app is pretty easy to use and makes connecting the headphones and registering them pretty painless. -All day comfort. I sported these on and off all day at the office, wearing them about 80% of the time during my 8 ½ hour day. No fatigue on the ears or the crown of the head, where others tend to bother me. -30 Hour Battery. Rated for 30 hours of noise canceling use. I find it hard not to charge them just out of habit. They haven’t *needed* a charging since I’ve had them. -Very nice carrying case. The case comes with a audio to audio cable (one end is at a 90 degree). Also included is a very short USB A to USB C charging cable, as well as an airplane adapter (has the two audio plugs side by side). The headphones fold to fit in the case and the quality feels premium. -Light weight and stylish. With the battery life being phenomenal, you would expect a hefty battery and a large enclosure. That’s not the case. These are light weight and slim enough that you don’t look like you’re directing air traffic. -Touch Controls Keep the Design Looking Sleek. I’ll admit, I skipped the literature, so it took me a minute to figure out the touch controls. Sliding from the middle out will activate whichever function you’re trying to achieve. Double tapping the center pauses/plays. Double tap and hold will activate smart assistant if you’re connected to a smart phone. -Holding your hand over the muff to “Listen” is amazing. I use this feature quite often since I have office mates. It seems like the microphones normally used to help with noise canceling will pass on the ambient noise. This is extremely useful if you need to listen to a quick announcement or need to ask or answer a quick question. Cons: -Ridiculously short charging cable. The charge cable is about 3” in length. There is no convenient way to connect these to any laptop or wall plug without it hanging or being in the way. I just use a longer one that I use for my switch. Other Thoughts: -I wish the controls could be customized. I feel a bit silly putting my hand on the earmuff to allow sound to pass through. Would be nice if you had the option that when you pause the music, sound automatically passed through. -I would like to be able to tap the noise canceling button to turn on or off. I haven’t found the ambient noise setting to allow enough sound through to be useful. Simply on or off would be more beneficial to me. Final Thoughts: If you’re looking for the best noise canceling headphones, these are probably contending for the #1 spot. You’re getting top notch noise canceling, customizable sound, all day comfort without having to charge, all the while looking stylish. You get what you pay for with these headphones.

Love these headphones. Have been using them for various video calls. Excellent sound and ease of use. Great sound when connected to phone while listening to music and the app has some nice features allowing you to tweak your listening experience.

I have the M2 which have been passed on. These are more comfortable, less hot, roomier and I don't feel the slight pressure/hiss when the NC is active. The USB C is nice and the case is better. The Touch controls are still a bit finicky, and I wish they could connect to two devices at once. Overall I am happy, but they aren't perfect. Look for them on sale.

I use these every day. Kids being too noisy, no problem. Work, too much going on and need to focus. .. you got these bad boys! Touch pad takes a minute to get use to. Pairing is awesome for Android experience. I don't have an iPhone sorry but I hear good things regarding pairing.

I find these headphones to be overall absolutely terrific. Though the controls are not very intuitive in my opinion (the touch controls are clunky and it is hard to turn noice cancelling on/off), they make up for it with superb sound quality, build quality, and voice cancelling.

My Sony headphones M3 are excellent and pair up easy with my IPhone and I can wire them to my CD player. I’m old school and have a large cd collection. I also bought an ION portable outdoor speaker and it also paired up nicely. I would recommend any of these products.

These are the best headsets hands down. I looked at the Banff and Olufsen, Bose. But these Sony’s transferred sound quality 3 times better than the others. There was zero distortion and clarity was incredible. Highly recommend.

The sound quality is amazing, but expected from Sony. What is the most impressive is the noise canceling quality. Simply amazing. Im constantly flying and that improve my travel days to a 100%. Much easy to rest my head from all the noise. Nothing can beat this. if you can pay, thats the one.

These headphones were the best when they came out until the new version released. Outperforms the Bose noise cancelling with balanced frequencies across the board! Get the new ones today or get these if you value one of the best sound and noise cancelling quality!

long story short: this headphones are phenomenal! i gifted this to my friend and all he does is rave about it. feels comfortable and perfect for wanting to block out sounds. but i think theres a feature to not block out the background sounds. anyway 10/10 recommend!
