Ambient sound, and noise cancellation settings really nice. I use noise canceling when working out and need to zone in. I use ambient setting when taking a walk/power walk. Love it, I can hear cars coming (safety 1st). Actually just bought one for my wife too.

Great upgrade from my Bose Quiet Comfort 15's. Awesome sound whether I am in a quiet room or running outdoor gas powered equipment. Combined with the super comfortable fit and feel this was a great upgrade. Highly recommend them because of sound quality, wear comfort and price.

two gripes - 1. Cannot connect to 2 sources and play audio and accept calls on both unlike Bose QC35 - which I didn't really feel the need for until I started working from home and needed to accept calls on both my phone and laptop. 2. Ear cushions not available for purchase if you damage them. Noise cancellation is great, sound quality is good too. Slightly heavy so you feel the weight if you wear for long hrs.

Overall I think they are worth the money. Pros: Does a good job of both canceling out ambient noise in NC mode, and enhancing ambient noise in that mode. Cons: Controls are tough to find because they are touch and don't have feedback so will require repetitive use to get comfortable. Would prefer a separate button for Alexa/Google instead of having to decide whether a button is for changing modes or Alexa/Google.

This was my first pair of noise cancelling head phones I ever bought so I have nothing to compare them too. But on there own I love them. They are really comfortable and I sometimes forget I even have them on when I am listening to my music. They are expensive but not a purchase I regret at all.

It has fantastic sound along side amazing noise cancellation, but does get sweaty at times. However, it doesn't get too sweaty and when it does, it's usually hot and it's after 2-5 hours of wearing them. A great buy for anyone wanting amazing noise noise cancellation with fantastic sound. Whenever I'm forced into using any regular 20-80 buck earbuds, I always beg and complain how their not even close to the overall quality of the Sony wh-1000xm3 headphones.

I have never owned active noise cancelling headphones before, but now I'm never going back. The sound quality is incredible. When I wear these on airplanes (pre-covid), everything goes silent. Sound quality is great once you play around with the EQ in the app.

Sound quality surpasses the flagship quiet comfort model Bose by miles, and it's just as great in noise cancelling. I could sleep soundly on my 12+ hour international flight with noise cancelling on, and the gesture mechanics on the cans allow switching to ambient mode to hear or speak to someone.

I had the QC15 and i upgraded to these over the QC34 II. Definitely better sound quality and ANC than the Bose. Only complain would be that the earcups do get quite hot unlike Bose and are slightly heavier and noticeable when you wear them entire day. Otherwise, they are the perfect ANC cans,

I can wear these things for hours and not notice them. Eliminates those droning type sounds like air conditioners and I guess airplane engines (haven't flown with them yet). Sounds great when used with Fire Stick and phones. Probably wait for them to hit at least that $50 off sale.

I did ALOT of research and while the price was a little high all I can say is they are VERY much worth it! If you’re looking for a pair of high end noise cancelling headphones look no further. These things are rated #1 for a reason

These are the best headphones for noise cancelling I have ever heard or for politically correct phrase did not hear! They do have the option of placing your hand over the right muff and you can hear 100% clear as a bell! Thank yo Sony for a wonderful product.

I would recommend this one, before buying bose or beats studio 3 like headphones try this one you won't have better experience in Speakers and headphones of sony rather than bose or beats I highly recommend this one, its noise cancellation is really like magic

The best over ear headphones I’ve ever owned. They beat out Bose in noise cancellation especially on flights. I like the included features, I just wish they worked specific to Spotify, YouTube music, or Apple Music for the virtual surround sound.

They are comfortable and noise canceling. Has a nice plug in and charger. I love the fact the headphones have a touch pad on the side. Has a nice volume and good range for wireless connection. If you are going on a plane or something loud I would recommend these headphones for you.

After many years of shying away from the “expensive” noise canceling headphones I decided to try this one! And what an experience! Nothing else matches the quality of these headphones. Don’t wast time and money on other headphones. Highly recommended. Try it and you will be happy you did.

I’ve never owned a pair of over the ear noise cancelling headphones before but wanted them so I don’t have to worry about wires getting in my way and to focus on school work. I really love these! They are comfortable and the touch portion on the set comes in handy. I would give it 5 stars but I just find that the top of my head sorta gets sore when wearing them for a while but it could just be my head is misshapen lol

These are by far the best headphones on the market right now!! I’ve had Beats and Bose(Bose QC are awesome too!) but these are one step ahead of the Bose and like ten steps ahead of Beats. Worth every penny I generally don’t buy top end premium electronics but I’m glad I made this purchase.

I am impressed with the crisp sound, I regularly take long road trips and listen to books while driving, between the fabulous noise canceling and the crisp sound I don't miss a thing. I don't listen to music anymore, I experience it. I find it difficult to listen to music any other way.

The sound is a great balance of highs, mids and base. I bought these ones, the Bose 700 and newest Beats headphones. These are the best sounding to me. They collapse and easy to store in case. It surprised me due to I am a Bose man. These are highly recommended.
