I am hearing impaired and have a cochlear implant. Even though these are expensive, I bought them because they comfortably fit over my processor so that I can listen to music thought my unaided ear and my implant. I tried every pair of over the ear headphones I could find and the Sony's worked the best. I've noticed you can find the Bose QC's for less than the Sony's now, so one star off for value, otherwise very happy with purchase.

Although I can still hear a baby cry, it does deaden most all other noises. Much needed additions have been made; no longer must you be connected to Bluetooth to keep the noise canceling features turned on. Can set auto power down time. Great sound is also a given.

These headphones have amazing sound quality that can be adjusted to what you like using the downloadable app. There are many settings to play around with until you find your preferred sound. I recommend the headphones for anyone who is serious about their music.

Sony has really knocked it out of the park with these headphones, I’ve been using these for one week now and have nothing but great things to say! I’ve owned quite a few pair of headphones and I can comfortably say that these have quickly become my favorite and probably the best sounding headphones I’ve ever used. Not only is the sound on-point but they are also loaded with high-tech features like touch controls, noise cancellation with ambient mode and Adaptive Sound Control, and so much more. For me, the size and weight are perfect. I’ve gone almost the entire week wearing these in my office while working, for hours at a time, without needing to adjust the positioning at all. They are more ergonomically designed with a slimmer, more comfortable profile that doesn’t put pressure on your ears or the headband. The headphones are very soft and lightweight and the cups completely cover my ears without resting on my ears. The sound is perfect, probably the best I’ve ever heard, and fully customizable through the Headphones app. The app allows you to adjust the equalizer and surround sound settings with a wide range of preset options for each as well as individual customization. You can also control the Adaptive sound Control, Noise Canceling Optimizer, Sound Position Control, Sound Quality Mode, DSEE HX, Power settings and more. Did I say these headphones are hi-tech? Because they are! The noise cancelling works amazingly well. While wearing these at my desk at work I cannot hear my co-workers or any typing, fans or any of the normal sounds of my office. Nothing but quite and my music, it’s a really cool experience the first time you hear it. If I do need to listen to something for a quick moment I can just place my hand over the right cup and instantly the volume lowers and noise cancelling turns off, it’s awesome and works very well. As soon as you remove your hand the volume and noise cancelling return to their previous settings. There is also an option to turn noise cancelling off as well as to let only voices and alert signals through. Sony advertises that these have a 30 hour battery life and they deliver on that promise. Not only do they last a super long time, they will also give you up to 5 hours of playback from a single 10 minute charge. Voice calling and the Google assistant work perfectly on these, everything is clear and sounds great! The headphones come with a really nice hard-shell carry case that has a netted pouch on the outside for additional storage of something small. Because of the low profile headphones, and the innovative way that they fold down into the case, the case isn’t too big and fits nicely in my bag. The Sony WH-1000X M3 headphones are amazing and I highly recommend them to anyone who has the money to invest in a quality pair of headphones, loaded with hi-tech features that will last you many years! You will not be dissapointed.

Best investment I have made so far this year, this headphone blocks out surrounding noise and helps me focus whenever I go to Starbucks to work on my laptop. It’s definitely superior to my previous noise-canceling headphones, which were by Bose.

These headphones are incredible! The active noise cancelling gives you dead silence. The sounds are excellent. I use it for late night TV watching and listening to music from my Pixel. The app gives you a decent amount of sounds customization. Worth every penny!

Purchased these headphones for my mother. She loves the sound quality and the noise cancelling. They have both great passive NC and active NC. She loves that she can just tap the side of the speaker to have a conversation or listen to the environment.

One of the best on the market - the noise cancellation and sound quality is amazing. My only complaint would be that your ears can start to get warm after a while, but otherwise they are very comfortable. Would recommend over Beats or Bose.

These are the best noise-cancelling headphones out there, even improved from the 1st generation pair that they replaced. Improved noise cancelling, a more comfortable headband, and very good sound to boot. The phone app is great for customized listening as well.

These headphones work great on the airplane. They cancel out all of the crazy noise on the plane and allow me to enjoy my movies, my music, my books. Love them.

I liked the noise canceling feature and the fact that we could plug it in on the airplane and watch the movies and it canceled out the sound and it seemed like the sound was better through these headphones rather than the ones that the airline provides

I was looking at these vs the Bose QC series, both of which typically get great marks, but I think Sony, especially with the M3 version of this product has a clear lead. Amazing headphones. Great features and sound quality. I'd recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat.

These headphones sound amazing. The best part is that the noise cancelling really helps block out an annoying co-worker that mumbles to himself and makes odd noises all day. Goodbye annoying coworker... hello productivity.

I feel like I am in a different world using those headphones. When I take them off I hear all different sounds I would normally not notice. It is really helpful when you are trying to focus on your work or if you are traveling. Price is worth it!

Sound quality is amazing. The amount of features you get for the money is really good. Had to return these because the size of these was not practical for my everyday use. But I can definitely tell that these are much better value than Bose QC35ii

The sound is great and the build quality is great for the price especially when it is on sale. these headphones at any price under 200 are phenomenal. I ended up getting the Bang and Olufsen beoplay h9i at the time because they sounded just a bit better and i got a great deal on them, these are some of the best value headphones available.

Top noise cancelling headphones and great price from best buy. Get them you will not be disappointed. These have the best noice cancelling with quality sound. Are not bluetooth compatible with PS4 but can get dongle to connect via bluetooth.

This is my second pair of Sony headphones after wearing my first pair out. My first pair lasted about 4 years and then I just wanted to replace with a newer version. These new ones are awesome! Crystal clear sound and noise cancelling is great. Love them!
