The noise cancelling is the best I've experienced while maintaining a solid sound quality. My only issue with them is that they feel cheap, they're super light weight (which could be seen as an advantage) and the plastic they're made of feels cheap too and thats just a little disappointing for how much these are.

I took them on a plane recently and almost fell asleep with them on, that is how good the noise cancellation is. I almost forgot how loud planes were with them.

She decided the Sonys would be the best choice over anything Bose had. The noise cancelling is better than Bose and the phone app allows a lot of control. The price is high and I'm not convinced that any headphones are worth the money. They do what they say but is it worth the money?

NC at its best

Headphone connect app. Is straight forward easy to customize sound to your liking. Touch controls are not to sensitive wish It had a adjustment. Ear cups are comfy but can be hot. Noise canceling works better than other bands I’ve used Bose included. I actually leave the Bose home when traveling. Would have given 5 stars but ear cups can get sweaty.

Best ANC headphones I’ve tried so far

I’ve tried both and have found the Sony to be a bit better. These are the best it’s going to get for ANC. I mainly use these for work because we have the crappy open office setup and these really help cut down on the distractions.

You can place your hand against the side and it disables the noise cancelling so you can speak to people around you. Quality is great, NC is great.

However, I purchased these through a package with a 950 Sony TV, mount, and sound bar system. Let's just say, the headphones are great. If you want quality sound for every music, movie, or gameplay, they are worth it. If you are just a couch potato, theses aren't for you. Too complex for music.

In the app you can adjust all the skins settings on the headphones. I personally have not adjusted anything, but the sound quality is very good.

My Bose headphones hearing pads started falling off and replacements did yhe same thing. When I compared the new headphones the Sony was better

The noise cancellation is excellent and at times while listening, I had no idea what else was going on in my surroundings as it was so quiet
