However, the microphone sucks. It's also a pain to switch between devices. These are the areas where Sony really needs to improve / catch up Bose.

They are superb, equal to if not better than their rivals while also being less expensive. The sound is clear with a good amount of base without sounding muddy. One of the major issues I've always had with headphones is fit. I'm 6' 3" with a massive head, my wife is 5' 2" with a small head, these both fit us equally as well. The only dig I would give them is a somewhat awkward layout of the carrying case (which you'll get used to after a month or so). I will say it was done on purpose with the goal of making the case as small as possible.
