The battery did not last as long as it should have when I purchased it. I would rate it 5 stars if it weren’t for those problems. But again, the sound quality is extremely good, the best I have ever heard.

The sound cancelling works at least as well as my Bose on an airplane, with the added benefit of being less prone to "wind" noise when the overhead AC vents blow down on the headset. What sets these apart is the much better music quality- I was always OK with giving the Bose headsets a pass on lack of bass response etc due to how good the noise cancellation was- but now this Sony set does both! Battery life is great as well. I've only charged them 3x since owning them and have been on at least 10 flights along with other use in the office.
