Her one requirement was that they needed to be good on phone calls. She is very happy with how these work. She walks around the house with them on almost all of the time. In fact, I almost have to yell for her to hear me. She has also let me know that they work great when talking with school friends or other friends in general.

The audio is good and the connectivity worked first time and has never failed. I don't think the noice cancelling works as well as it should. I can still hear people talking 15 feet away from me. It's not loud but I still hear that people are talking. My only real complaint is that my ears get too hot. Either my ears run hotter than normal or that is just happens with over the ear headphones :-)

For a more comfortable listening experience, please try using the sliders to adjust the WH-1000XM3. The noise-canceling function is effective in low-frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices.
