    I would say that the sound quality is average, however, that doesn't mean that this isn't a good headphone. It does an excellent job at canceling consistent sounds.

    They are incredible, best noice canceling headphones out there but, they are heavy and I started getting neck pains so I had to exchange them for another brand. Still, would recommend them to everyone.

    At low volume, it Doesn’t cancel all noise. Seems to be best at cancelling droning noise.. but at medium, it’s loud enough to drown out everything. Makes ears a little sweaty but comfortable.

The noise-canceling function of this unit is effective in low-frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, or offices (near air-conditioning, etc.) and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices.
