    These headphones are the best on the market and I tried them all before purchasing. They are pricey but a few loud plane and train rides and you'll feel like they're worth the cost.

    For sound, the main use for this headphone, it is a champ. The mic is so so and first one died on me. Sony did replace it, and so far it has been okay.
