He’s told me several times over the course of the month how grateful and happy he is to have received it. I tried it myself and was amazed at how soundproof they are. Not comfortable for me, but maybe for you
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked up a pair of these on the recommendation of several trusted friends. I use headphones for work, and wear them 6-8 hours a day, so comfort is a deal-breaker. I have been comparing them to a set of Bose QuietComfort 35 II, and an older Plantronics set. I have larger ears than average, and the Sony earcups push on the top of my ears, which begins to hurt after a couple hours. Additionally, the headband sits in such a way that I start to get a headache over time. I don't have these problems with the Bose (as much as I want to prefer the Sony). Another deal breaker for me is that the Sony set does not [easily] support dual simultaneous bluetooth connections. When working, I need to be connected to my laptop and smartphone, and be able easily switch between them. The Bose and PLT both do this. This is different than simply pairing multiple devices, which the Sony does support. If you search around the Internet, there are tricks with connecting certain audio protocols to make simultaneous devices work, but I don't have time to mess around with constant reconfiguration. Less important to me, but also noteworthy. The audio quality on the Sony isn't as crisp as the Bose, although they're very close. This is probably due to Bose's audio compression witchcraft, and purists will argue that I'm wrong...meh. The sound quality also apparently applies to the microphone. I tested both sets on a call with a particularly-picky colleague. He reported that while both were good, the Sony sounds quieter and more distant.
