The noise cancelling is honestly great, but I bought these to actually listen to things, that's what I get for trusting "best headphones" reviews online. Yeah battery life is awesome, yeah noise cancelling is awesome. Both of those attributes are literally nothing compared to the fact that they sound like garbage. I buy headphones to listen to... whatever I want to listen to. But the only thing these headphones are good for is not listening to things. Their noise cancelling is great, their sound production rivals that of a $5 earbud set you could get from any impulse-section of any store you've ever been in. 10/10 ear-mufflers, 3/10 headphones. I'd return them but the entire world is kinda dealing with something at the moment. Just please don't repeat my mistakes.

Please try downloading the Sony | Headphones Connect app. It has an equalizer which can be customized to fine-tune your music. This will give you more control over your headphones and their performance.
