These headphones AWESOME, the Noise Cancelling is just that, you hear nothing around you, but what your listening to, very well made, worth the cost, I recommend them.

Great for blocking noise for autistic individuals.

Nice sound with ample base when needed. Works as expected, and comfortable for long time listening. Be gentle with them though, they don’t seem to be the most sturdy ear phones on the market.

These are the best noise-canceling headphones that I have ever used and highly recommend checking them out. They aren't cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for with these.

Bought the product for my son who is studying for his Doctorate. He happens to have acute hearing and is very discerning about audio clarity and quality. The Sony phones fit the bill.

so these headphones where given to me for christmas, they are great looking and sound is great, they do have great features as well but i dont think they are the best. I had the previous model and i dint feel these are too much of an upgrade.

When I first got the original 1000X headphones a few years ago I said they were the best sounding headphones I've ever listened to. Then, the very next year Sony comes out with the 1000XM2 which were better than the originals in almost every way. For it's third iteration, somehow Sony has taken those cans and made everything about them even better: - Lighter and more comfortable - Now the best ANC! - Google Assistant! - USB-C! If you've owned either of the previous models the first thing you will notice is that these are lighter, with larger earcups so they are more comfortable to wear for longer periods of time. These don't have the squeezing pressure that you feel from some other over-the-ear cans. The sound quality remains one of the best you will find in a Bluetooth pair of over-ears. However, the latest version now includes four microphones and a digital noise cancelling processor which makes these in my opinion the best active noise cancelling overears on the market. It can adapt to your current environment. The combination of quiet and sound is pure bliss. You will be shocked at how well these headphones cancel out noise around you. Better than the competitors. Still features an impressive 30 hours of battery life, along with the "Quick Attention" feature, which allows you to place a hand over the right ear cup to temporary disable noise cancelling so you can order your cocktail from the flight attendant. You can also now configure the ambient noise button to instead query Google Assistant (this also works with iOS devices). This is a welcome addition, however, you will not find Siri or Alexa functionality at this time. Overall, the third times the charm and I would highly recommend this pair of headphones to nearly anyone.

Solid, really drowns out the external spouse noise. Over the ear works for me. A step above my beats.

This is the best headphone that I ever had. Google Assistant is a great plus. Just works with wi-fi and so great to listen to music. If you are a true music lover, you need to have it.

Purchased these headphone a few weeks back and have used them more than I ever used the 4 year old Bose. The sound and noise reduction is superior and the ease of use is great.

This is a gift that was puchased after extensive review of headphones. Originally was looking at the Bose headphones but the new technology that Sony used makes the product better than Bose.

Love the slim profile of these on my head. Don't care about dual pairing so that feature isn't missed, but I do wish they offered playback via the USB-C port.

I was waiting for the USB-C powered version of these and was debating between this and the Bose. I am glad I picked this from a price to value standpoint.

These are the best Noise Cancelling headphones I have owned and my other pair is a set of Bose. The app for your smartphone gives nearly unlimited customization of the sound through various presets as well as a manual option for a true custom sound. You can shift the position of the sound to any desired direction, like in front, behind or to either side of yourself as well as total surround sound. Noise cancellation is awesome. TV on and I couldn't hear it at all, But with the push of one of the two buttons I can allow ambient noise through when desired. The only other button is the power button. They even completely blocked out the train going down the tracks that are 1500 feet from our house as well as the trains horn blowing at 4 crossings in a one mile stretch that are usually disruptive to listening to anything. The cat, and grass cutting outside and road noise as folks were coming home from work into the development were also totally silent. Answering phone calls just takes a double tap to the touch panel on the outside of the right earpiece and the sound quality on my end of the conversation as well as on the other end according to my wife was really great as well. Another double tap will end the conversation. The touch panel on the right earpiece is also where you take care of volume adjustments by sliding your finger up to increase or down to decrease as well as to skip or repeat a track by sliding your finger forward or backward on the panel. The touch panel functions can be handled from your phone as well if you want to do so. They were super easy to pair with my iPhone and my Sony Xperia Xz2 android. They also easily paired with the TV soundbar and my laptop. These are very sleek looking, adjustable for the perfect comfort fit, and a 30 hour battery life is absolutely fantastic. Software updates for the headphones are done through Bluetooth from your phone and the headphone app. They come with a: Protective case USB C to USB charging cable Airline plugin adapter for using with an in flight movie 3.5 Audio jack plug in for a direct corded connection to your device if desired. My only negative comment is the charging cable is way too short(Only around 8 inches) so I will be picking up another USB C to USB cable in a longer length

I had the M1 and this is much improved version. It's lighter and I appreciate they fixed the head band. The previous version were too flat at the top. Very happy with this purchase
