i got these for 169 a steal from bestbuy when they go on sale. replaced my BOSE QC 35 2

Basically I love the noise cancellation and how they sound but something I didn't know about until I owned them is that the touch controls including the "palming" feature bugs out like crazy when in cold weather, specifically below/around 30°F. Wouldn't be a major issue if it wasn't for the fact that I live in NY and it's the middle of winter. They also started creeking after a week and I owned Sony headphones in the past. When it starts creeking, then it might crack soon. For $350, that is too scary for only a week of having them. I returned them as a result. Maybe it would be a big issue if u live in a warmer place so I'd still recommend them.

Quite simply the best when great noise cancellation does not mean compromising audio quality. Battery life is quite even remarkable with ANC on all day.

These headphones are very comfortable. The noise cancellation is great you can’t hear anything around you. They fold easily in a very nice portable case they come with.

They tend to block some noise but not all. Was a little disappointed. Not worth the money I paid. They do a decent job but wish I had purchased something much lighter. Can give me a headache after An hour.

I absolutely love these headphones. The battery last a long time and the noise cancelling is fantastic! I wear them when in school and on flights! I have no complaints.

Love the look and sound of these headphones, but the only reason I don’t give it an excellent rating is that my ears start to hurt from the pressure against my ears and after a while they feel hot causing sweat.

Device so nice, I purchased it twice! My first set was stolen, but I love these so much I repurchased! One of my favorite overall things!

Was looking for the perfect do everything headphone and this Sony is fantastic. I got it when it was on sale around Christmas and it was a sweet deal.

Only use these when I travel. Highly recommend. Wireless feature is awesome. Good sound and noise reduction from screaming brats on a plane is really good

These Sony headphones are pretty amazing for an over-the-ear headphone. To start and compare with, I have a pair of Skull Candy Hesh 2 Wireless headphones and Apple Airpods to compare with. First impressions: - Sleek - Super Comfortable - Foldable The first thing I did when I got these headphones was install the app on my iPhone and install an update for the headphones. Took a little longer than I expected, about 45 minutes. My first test was at the gym. Let me tell you, these are some of the softest headphones I’ve ever put on my head. Very comfortable! Next, you notice immediately after you put the headphones on its almost like you’re in a sound-proof room! So quiet. Turning on the headphones enables the Noise Cancellation feature which removes any additional noise that may be coming in. This is nice at the gym because sometimes I’m battling the gyms music over mine, and in this case it was all me. There is also a feature for Smart Listening that adjusts the noise cancellation based on your environment. The app is pretty impressive. Neither of my other premium headphones had an app to control the headphones like this one. Within the app you can view the battery life, toggle the Adaptive Sound Control and Ambient Sound Control on and off, optimize the Noise Cancelling to your preference, equalizer, Sound Quality Mode, and DSEE HX toggle along with a few other options. Very handy, especially if you’re an audiophile. Finally, I accidentally stumbled upon the touch features of the headphones while at the gym. The right headphone is touch sensitive and allows you to control volume and music playback with a simple swipe of your finger on the actual headphone, Apple Airpods for instance allow you to pause by double-tapping which doesn’t seem very smooth, these Sony headphones are much more responsive and allows you to pause, go back/forward, and adjust volume. It’s a nice option for those without a smart watch to control music without their phone. One thing I wish I could do on the app is to turn this feature off. While working out sometimes I grab my head or need to adjust the headphones and will accidentally hit something on them affecting my playback. During my initial impressions I wore them to the gym, grocery shopping, and just in general around the house to get a feel for them. The battery life of 30 hours is very impressive, especially with this level of noise cancellation. Full charge takes about 3 hours, but you can several hours of playback off 20-30 minute charge. It uses USB C to charge which is nice since that’s the standard now. The downside to wearing these along with any over-the-ear headphones is the sweat that builds up. I think I’ll stick to my Airpods when it comes to the gym but for almost every other situation these are great headphones to have, especially if you’re in crowded areas. It would be great for my audiobooks especially since I don’t do good with noise distractions.

Features were really great and all, but I like my headphones to get really loud when needed and these just didn’t cut it for me. I went Vmoda instead and though they might not have all those features the sound and build quality are great!

These Sony headphones were good but I decided to return them and go with the Bose, in my opinion the Bose has a little bit better sound quality.

I use these things for everything from work meetings to gaming and couldn't be happier with how they've lasted. Only thing is ease and availability of replacement cups, I haven't seen any official ones sold by Sony
