Got these after comparing to Bose for a flight to Europe. Having never used noise cancelling headphones before, the effect was amazing and seemed like magic. The cabin drone disappeared but can still sort of hear regular speech. Otherwise, place hand over the right earcup and the phones turn on exterior mic so you can hear when someone is talking to you. Again, like magic how quick that works. If you watch movies the silencing effect is helpful but the silence for sleeping is tops for me. They are very lightweight feeling on your head. It has a headphone jack and comes with an airline adaptor but it did not fit two different airlines I used. Buy correct adapter before you leave.

I debaited whether to buy the Sony or the Bose QC35 II. I am very glad I bought these. the fit is great and the sound is very rich. I wore these for 4 hours straight without any discomfort.

Love these. The app to personalize the sound is amazing. Sound quality is better than the Studio Beats I upgraded from. Beats are louder by just a little. Sound cancellation is excellent. I couldn’t even hear my sitting 2 feet from me. She didn’t like that lol. I considered Bose as well but the music I like has a lot of Bass and they kept flattening out.

Fantastic sound and excellent noise blocking. Charge lasts a while. Stylish design. Definitely worth the price. The Sony app is great for first time pairing.

great sound, easy to use, long charging, and nice to have hand swiping control without having to look at the headset to control. well designed and fit comfortably over your ears.

Initially I was very confused at why this version was more expensive than the newer models that have come out like the XM4...now I know why. They are amazing sound quality and provide very high noise cancelling. I have tried the google assistant and it has worked well, but I really don't use it on a regular basis. They are well padded but light and sit well on your ears without any annoyance or sweat. I would highly recommend these if you are in the market for some noise cancelling headphones.

Had these for a while and they serve me well. Noise cancelling works great, and the ambient noise option is very nice to have. Great set of wireless headphones. Plus having the option to use a standard audio cable gives it versatility.

Noise canceling works great even operating power equipment, excellent sound, finger swipe/tap control on right headphone is very convenient. Light weight and comfortable, can be worn for hours.

I decided to treat myself to some premium headphones. After weeks of research and product reviews these came out on top. I am very happy with my purchase. It has great features and are extremely comfortable. The sound is clear and crisp but it has an app where you can adjust the sound to how you like it. I am sort of audiophile so I only use it wired as having a wired connection is far superior to using bluetooth. Bluetooth is compressed while wired isn't. That is a fact and true for any blue tooth headphone but luckily Sony included the wire for that option. The noise cancelling feature is second to none. Great product.

A must for any international travel. I have owned these x3 versions for ~2 years now. They cut out a majority of that nasty flying noise from the aircraft. I have the Sony and Bose quiet comfort 35II. The Sony’s top the Bose for noise canceling and sex appeal. The only plus of the Bose is they have the ability to share Bose headset to Bose headset (I.e. if you and your significant other were watching a movie you both could on the same device with the Bose). Sony also has a better battery life and quality of material for headband and ear cups.

Amazing comfort, amazing clarity and amazing noise canceling. Only issue is I wish they could be louder, charge last for weeks and my god are they light!! Must buy! Much improved over the M2

I used these on a recent airline trip. They were very effective at cancelling the noise of the engines on the airplane. The battery life is good and they are comfortable to wear.

Great sound and battery life on these. Comfortable for several hours of wearing. The only downside is only being able to connect to one device at a time, but swapping devices only takes a few seconds. The app allows for fine tuning EQ and noise cancellation, it's a great feature.

I actually had the M2’s prior to the M3’s. Though I liked the sound and performance of the M2’s, I was always aware of the tightness on my head and the heat on my ears. I couldn’t just sit and listen and for hours. When the M3’s were released, I read the reviews and couldn’t wait to try them ... and they didn’t disappoint! The performance, the sound and the comfort ... all a plus and improvement. The fact that I watched a movie on a plane for 2.5 hours and the battery still registered as full, was unbelievable. I’m definitely a fan!

After much research and testing different headphones, these came out on top. I’ve used them on a plane, at the gym and finally on the beach, love them. Totally recommend this product.

Lightweight, comfortable and sound great. Noise cancelling excellent. Some features do not work when wired. But I guess that is to be expected. Should be noted as such in description though. Would give 5 stars otherwise. Work well wirelessly. Purchased during Black Friday sale. Decent price.

I needed a pair of wireless noise-cancelling headphones to use on the bus to/from work. I first bought a pair of the Bowers and Wilkins PX, which sounded great with no/little noise cancellation, but were very uncomfortable. I returned them and got these instead. They are super comfortable, sound great (a little more bass than the PX), and the sound quality doesn't drop on the highest noise cancellation level! I don't even notice that I'm on the bus. The app has so many neat features to it, like automatically changing noise cancellation profiles depending on if you are sitting, walking, running, or moving in a vehicle. The wind reduction feature works perfectly.

Noise cancelling feature works well to block out ambient noise on my commutes to work on the NYC subway systems which can get quite loud. Comfortable enough to wear for the over 1 hour commute. Sound quality is very good. A bit pricey but works well enough. It can get a bit hot in the summer though.

Astounding sound quality, extremely comfortable, and noise cancelling features even Bose cannot match. additionally, this is the only headphone on the market with 'ambient noise' feature - when enabled, it listen to sounds in the room, focusing on voices, and reproduces them into the headphones at the same proportional volume as they are in the room. this means you can use the headphones while sitting next to someone, and hear every word they say, push a button to turn noise cancelling on, and silence becomes golden. simply incredible technology! all that, combined with audio quality that rivals studio headsets, makes this the best set money can buy
