I would want him to speak to me through these earphones. They are that good.

These Sony headphones are pretty amazing for an over-the-ear headphone. To start and compare with, I have a pair of Skull Candy Hesh 2 Wireless headphones and Apple Airpods to compare with. First impressions: - Sleek - Super Comfortable - Foldable The first thing I did when I got these headphones was install the app on my iPhone and install an update for the headphones. Took a little longer than I expected, about 45 minutes. My first test was at the gym. Let me tell you, these are some of the softest headphones I’ve ever put on my head. Very comfortable! Next, you notice immediately after you put the headphones on its almost like you’re in a sound-proof room! So quiet. Turning on the headphones enables the Noise Cancellation feature which removes any additional noise that may be coming in. This is nice at the gym because sometimes I’m battling the gyms music over mine, and in this case it was all me. There is also a feature for Smart Listening that adjusts the noise cancellation based on your environment. The app is pretty impressive. Neither of my other premium headphones had an app to control the headphones like this one. Within the app you can view the battery life, toggle the Adaptive Sound Control and Ambient Sound Control on and off, optimize the Noise Cancelling to your preference, equalizer, Sound Quality Mode, and DSEE HX toggle along with a few other options. Very handy, especially if you’re an audiophile. Finally, I accidentally stumbled upon the touch features of the headphones while at the gym. The right headphone is touch sensitive and allows you to control volume and music playback with a simple swipe of your finger on the actual headphone, Apple Airpods for instance allow you to pause by double-tapping which doesn’t seem very smooth, these Sony headphones are much more responsive and allows you to pause, go back/forward, and adjust volume. It’s a nice option for those without a smart watch to control music without their phone. One thing I wish I could do on the app is to turn this feature off. While working out sometimes I grab my head or need to adjust the headphones and will accidentally hit something on them affecting my playback. During my initial impressions I wore them to the gym, grocery shopping, and just in general around the house to get a feel for them. The battery life of 30 hours is very impressive, especially with this level of noise cancellation. Full charge takes about 3 hours, but you can several hours of playback off 20-30 minute charge. It uses USB C to charge which is nice since that’s the standard now. The downside to wearing these along with any over-the-ear headphones is the sweat that builds up. I think I’ll stick to my Airpods when it comes to the gym but for almost every other situation these are great headphones to have, especially if you’re in crowded areas. It would be great for my audiobooks especially since I don’t do good with noise distractions.

Love these, i was super excited to try these, bought one for me and hubby that was oversees at the time, he looked them as well, super convenient!

My wife bought them and loves them, although she says they are a bit bulky.

This is my 2nd purchase; the headphones have the best value in the market. There's some conspiracy about the firmware 4.1.1, it's based on your luck, I guess.

I am very satisfied thus far. I am going on a long plane trip so eager to see how the noise reduction as well as using the plug for the airline entertainment works.

Bought these for my daughter to complete her online college courses and she really likes them for noise reduction and bluetooth compatibility.

I had Bose ones but they were so old that I needed new ones and after reading reviews decided to try Sony headphones. I am so happy with this Sony WH1000XM3

Two things: 1. The noise cancellation is not a thorough as I had hoped for, but had not had a chance to compare other products in the same environment (airplane). 2. I with these had a volume control on the headphones, separate from the device that is streaming to them.

I bought this mainly for canceling office conversations (open floor plan) while the anc itself can’t block all noise, playing some white noise does the trick.

I love not having to deal with wire. It took a bit to figure out how to connect between phone and iPad. Once I read the directions- no problemo...lol

Music plays fine with very good quality. Bluetooth range is also decent. But we cannot change multiple devices without meddling with settings and it is not user friendly for this price. Also phone mic quality is worst. After 5 mins call, i reset the device and packed and returned. It is that much worst in phone quality. Cheap Bluetooth devices are much better if you are looking for phone quality. I do have Bose qc35 phones and they are much better in all aspects including phone quality.

Love these headphones, get the warranty on these though! Had two of them break on me and got them replaced.

Breaks easy .but very good sound quality ..price is too high ..easy to pair fantastic bass

The hand gestures aren't perfect and the sound doesn't quite match Bose. That's the only reason it's 4/5 stars. Still a very solid buy. I would still recommend getting the Bose QC35 II headphones over these.

I also currently own Beats Studio headphones but I never use them since I bought these. Kinda says it all.

Really good quality, i still use them even today. Easy to charge with my usb type c cable and nice to store in its case.
