Love it. Easy to handle, excellent quality. It's not cheap but well worth it. Instructions are excellent.

First off, I wasn't super confident on sound quality being Sony and based on other reviewers that have compared them with Bose, B&W, Sennheiser, etc. Let me tell you, I was impressed and I am totally satisfied and amazed at the sound quality. My first long term experience via flights from BOS to MN: - After 5 hours of constant use, comfort = best ever! I've owned B&W P7 and they hurt the top of my head after 2 hours. - Sound in concert and NC mode, unbelievable. I sat near the wing and practically dead silent with music off. - After 5 hrs, went to 80% s I'll have to verify 30 hrs time stated - Very light and comfortable, hardly know they are on your head. - Good base and fully adjustable via app. Nothing negative about these headphones. I have owned low end Sony, B&W, Bose QC (various) and some other buds and these are by far the best. (Yes, sorry, I keep repeating myself) The only "gripe" to my pretentious side is that don't look like expensive sounding headphones like the B&W but that just means nobody would want to steal them as they are very low key.

Get one today. You will not regret at all. Bought it for $299 plus tax and immediately fell in love.

Outstanding Bluetooth connection. I edit videos and there is no lag. Finally some quality headphones.

Although you may think these headphones are expensive the performance and quality you get make them a bargain.

I was deciding between this and the Bose QC line. The bass response on this was awesome and worth every penny.

I debated long and hard about getting these and after talking to a staff member decided to get them... the noise canceling is not what I was expecting. I can still hear my fan from across the room when it’s on and still hear people talking when it says that the noise canceling is all the way up. I also ran a sound quality test on it and it did pretty average on it. I plan on returning them for the top of the line Bose which were basically the same price.

Sony's latest premium NC headphones has to be one of the best pairs on the market. They have everything you would want in a high-end device: great construction quality, very good canceling capabilities, comfy for hours, and look great. Overall, there's not much to dislike here. First up is the packaging and design. Sony did a great job here with a nice carrying case, and the headphones look great with their metal accents. Next up is the sound quality. Sony headphones are generally decent sound quality, but the XM3 really ups that bar. The stage is warmer than some might like, but the lows are deep and mids solid. Bass is tight, and the EQ is customizable with an app that features a lot of options. I'd prefer that the sound quality is good, and it is. Speaking of the app, Sony's Headphones app takes some getting used to, but once you've poked around there's a lot of features there to unlock and make the headphones your own. The XM3 supports Google Assistant, which is a great feature. Speaking of controlling the headphones, all of the buttons are replaced with touch features on the right earcup to control your playback options. These take some acquainting, but after you understand how to turn the volume up and down they work very well. The NC is great, and there are three modes to help you in different situations. Speaking of NC, you'll be happy to know that these are very comfy for long sessions. I was out doing yardwork in them for three-hours one day and never felt any discomfort. That all said, the only things that may concern some people are the need for the app, and possibly the price. Yet, they don't outweigh the good and great pieces that go into the XM3, which altogether create one of the best, if not the best, NC headphones around.

Gone through a bunch of wireless headphones over the years. Best one yet! Worth the price!

I bought these due to my Bose QC’s kicking the bucket. From reviews these are supposed to be the be all end all for headphones. Thus why the price point is so high. Overall I was not impressed they do have great Noise cancelling probably the best but the comfort is subpar at best. After an hour of constant listening my ears hurt pretty bad. I have sense sold them and picked up some more QC’s for half the price... thanks but no thanks

Best headphones I have found. I own 4 different types of over ear and several ear buds. These are my favorite.
