Initially I was very confused at why this version was more expensive than the newer models that have come out like the XM4...now I know why. They are amazing sound quality and provide very high noise cancelling. I have tried the google assistant and it has worked well, but I really don't use it on a regular basis. They are well padded but light and sit well on your ears without any annoyance or sweat. I would highly recommend these if you are in the market for some noise cancelling headphones.

Compared these and the Bose and these won. Bose has 2 year old sound cancellation chips so these won out for me. Very comfortable to wear. Battery lasts forever. Highly recommend.

These are comfortable, and high quality sound make this a perfect travel headphone. The battery last a long time, and the headphones charge quickly. Well worth the money spent.

It’s pretty and not heavy. You won’t feel pains in your ears after a long time wearing. Also, if you really want a noise canceling headphone, this is your choice. Love it!

Love these headphones. I use them everyday. In the gym, in class, in my bedroom. They provide great sound quality and great noise cancellation.

I wasn’t confident these would be as good as the Bose ones I tried in the past. I saw them on a significant sale and thought they’re worth trying. I was pleasantly surprised how good they are, the noise cancellation is amazing and I am thrilled I got these at the price that I did. They aren't as bulky as I thought and they’re pretty light.

They are extremely comfortable and the noise cancelling is amazing. Ive paired this with a hdmi bluetooth hub plugged into my television.i can late night binge watch and everyone else can sleep without interruption. You can selectively change how mutch outside ambient noise comes through so someone can still get your attention. Additionally you can cover the right cup to mute the bluetooth sound and carry on a conversation. The only thing i wish they would include is a way to amplify the sound of a conversation if you aren't streaming. Phone conversations are really clear and in stereo.

I have tried various model/brand that claim to be noise cancelation...But none of them work as good as Sony WH-1000XM3...It really impressed me to the extent that I went back to get a second set for my brother without hesitation... Although a bit pricey and bulky but I highly recommend it if you really want more than reasonable noise cancellation function headphone and you won't regret your choice...So far I have used it on airplane, in office, in hotel room next to snoring buddy...Go get it

For me, it has the best ANC. I have owned Bose QC and I also had Beats Studio Wireless 2 (Very heavy). I am an audiophile and so I also have Beoplay H8 which has the best sound for me but very uncomfortable. Out of all the headphones I have tried, owned, used - this has the best ANC. Also, it is very comfortable, I can wear it for hours. The reason I rated it 4 stars is because of the connectivity limitation. Connecting this to several devices should not be a pain. I find myself losing patience when I want to use it with my iPad or iPhone. You would have to disconnect it first and then connect, rather than just clicking connect. You need more steps to get it connected to a device. I didn't have that problem with Beats and Bose and even Beoplay. I am hoping that a software update will fix this one. But for now, it will be just connected to my iPad where I use it most and then wire connect to any other device. BOO! Yes, I'd recommend it if you don't guys mind doing more steps in connecting it to other devices.

Looking for comfort, sound quality and noise cancellation look no more. This headphone have amazing sound quality and 30 hr battery life. I'm very pleased with them

So positives are that these are the best sounding Bluetooth headphones money can buy and they have the absolute best noise cancellation technology out there today. I use them both in a noisy office and on planes and its a whole new level of noise canceling better than Bose. They have big wide ear cups that fit my big ears and are comfortable for all day use. I took one star off because of the negative of really poor phone calls, I have not been able to complete a call without complaints from people I'm talking with. I have to switch back to my Bose to take calls which is not ideal.

These have by far the best noise cancellation of any headphones I have used previously. The battery life is solid, uses USB-C, and has great comfort!

I purchased a pair of these headphones one for myself and another for a friend so he could listen to his electronic keyboard while others are asleep. I use mine predominantly with Spotify and have great results. My only issue is that I love loud music, and with slightly loud eve under the limits they still chime a tone now and then as a warning. I went through all of the steps to nullify the alert to no avail. Bass is great as well as all of the other functions. I would recommend them to friends. I have yet to compare them with high end headphones, but then again I can't afford to pay $2,500 for a set..

Extremely pleased with these headphones. First pair of active noise cancelling headphones I've owned and after comparing to some other leading brands (Bose, Sennheiser, Master & Dynamic) I opted for the Sonys. I wanted ANC headphones primarily to help block out noise while studying but after listening to some of my favorite music with them, I was so impressed by the sound quality that these are the only headphones I use for listening to music. Comfortable while walking around and good looking, in my opinion, these headphones are worth twice the price or more.

I’ve tried Bose and Beats. They just don’t compare to these. The fit amazing. Sound amazing. The battery life is great! The noise canceling helps in the office and plane.

The Sony - WH-1000XM3 Wireless Noise Canceling headphones are hands down the best sounding and most capable noise canceling headphones I have ever heard. Yes, they are expensive but they are worth it if you want the best. The hype is real. I loved my first set so much that I bought a second one for my significant other. They are that amazing that we each needed our own!

If you are like me then you like to compare similar products, and do some research before you buy. The articles I read on this headset are accurate. I was pretty hard set on Bose. I figured they would even come out with a new model (which they did) and I waited. The new features being added to the Bose didn't interest me. So I did a comparison at a BB store. Going back and forth between headsets for at least 30 minutes. It changed my mind. I decided that the Sony's were for me. They have been great! Noise cancelling is stellar. And they have a deeper base sound. I am very happy with this decision.

Great sounding, excellent noise canceling headphones. Very comfortable. Excellent 30 hour battery life with noise canceling on. I got a pair for my wife the one for me.

I am pretty new when it comes to purchasing headphones and I gotta say these are actually really nice headphones. I reviewed and looked at other headphones and have enjoyed every moment I have used this. Noise cancelling with the nice touch of having important noise in the background come through your headphones. Works very well with glasses. I would buy this item again! Soft on your head I can wear for a long time too. Super easy to use, there is this weird app thing they recommend for 3D sound I haven't been able to use that but I will when I have the time.
