Great sounding, excellent noise canceling headphones. Very comfortable. Excellent 30 hour battery life with noise canceling on. I got a pair for my wife the one for me.

I am pretty new when it comes to purchasing headphones and I gotta say these are actually really nice headphones. I reviewed and looked at other headphones and have enjoyed every moment I have used this. Noise cancelling with the nice touch of having important noise in the background come through your headphones. Works very well with glasses. I would buy this item again! Soft on your head I can wear for a long time too. Super easy to use, there is this weird app thing they recommend for 3D sound I haven't been able to use that but I will when I have the time.

These have really balanced sound that is similar to what I have in my main amp/loudspeaker rig. Also very comfortable and no battery life issues.

Very comfortable and the sound quality is excellent. Did I mention the battery lasts a very long time? All around great value. Highly recommend!

Been loyal to Bose for many years. After reading all the reviews on the New Sony WH-1000XM3, they definitely sound great, light weight, and excellent battery life.

I purchased these in the silver and my husband got the black. Great noise cancellation and sound, and they are hands down the lightest over the ear headphones I have tried. Unfortunately the silver color wasn't on display, but I was assured that I could exchange if I didn't like it once I opened it. It's a weird sand-like silver color, and it just didn't work for me. Also, the ear pads and the top pad that goes on top of the head were light colored, and I would worry about staining. Exchanged them for the black, with only some issues with the exchange (but that's the fault of the local store).

I heard great reviews before buying, and I bought them before a flight and the NC definitely out did my previous Bose QC35. Long lasting battery and super comfortable

I was planning on buying the sony xm2 but heard the xm3 were coming out so I waited. I'm very happy I waited. The noise canceling feature is great. I get anxiety attacks and I use these headphones to block out all noise to help me with my attacks or when my kids are too loud. The sound quality is so clear and nice bass. The bass is not overwhelming but it can be a bit more punchier. I use these with my LG V30+ phone with Flac files and mp3s and they sound great. I bought a ADVANTREE audio adapter and connected it to my ps4 and these headphones sound amazing. Very clear. There a bit pricey but worth the money.

I've always loved Bose headphones, but decided to try these out after researching some reviews. Best sound quality I've heard from any headphones. The noise cancelling works perfect and can customize the amount of noise cancelling you would like. Not a huge fan of the touch buttons for the volume but not a problem since there is a option to turn them off. Feel of the headphones is great. Quality materials and so comfortable I can wear them all day if I wanted and never bother me like most headphones will. Use them even for my gaming headphones now on my PC, and workout.

Really nice noise cancelling headphones. I use these when doing work on my tractor. Cancels the diesel engine noise and the music I listen to sounds excellent and crystal clear. Lightweight and comfortable

Hi there. If noise canceling is a must then look no further because it does that excellent. The bad is if talking on phone is a big deal then avoid this. Because that it does a lousy job in regards to taking on phone calls. When comparing to bose qc 35 ii which I have it does beat in three things only. Noise canceling and comfort and battery is USB type c and also a battery beast plus charges quick. In the end if you mainly will use to drown out sound around you listen only and barely take calls. Then consider it. If you do talk a lot on phone then think twice and get bose because their mics are superior by far for phone calls.

I have purchased the SONY Headphones 4 times for relatives as a Christmas or birthday gift. All recipients love the headphones for noise free traveling and for music. The setup software is amazingly cool. The feel on the head is really good. They look great in black or silver. Music buffs love the superior sound quality. Very highly recommended !!!!!! Bose makes a very good product, but I'll personally give SONY the edge here. Save up your money and settle for nothing less than these headphones. You are totally worth it especially if you want outstanding noise cancellation and great sounding tunes.

When it comes to listening to music, I’m very picky with the type of headphones I use and these by far are the best headphones I’ve ever owned hands down. The noise cancelling compared to Bose blows them out of the water. Sound quality is very clear and the bass is just the perfect level. I’m huge with bass and these headphones have that perfect bass that still gives your music that boom and makes movies seem alive. Not to mention you can customize your sound through the Sony headphones app and make it how you want your preferred listening experience. I highly recommend these headphones!

Great noise canceling. Purchased because of office renovation and they sound great. Very long battery life and fit over my large ears. Worth the money.

Bought this for two primary reasons. First, to use when traveling or commuting. The battery life is great for international travel and the quick charge works well when I forget to charge and I am getting ready to go home via train. Just a few minutes plugged in and the headset is charged enough for my long train ride home. Second, I bought for use in an open work environment. I'm able to clearly hear my music or audio programs and still able to very quickly hear what colleagues are saying by cupping my hand over the right ear piece. Did I mention that the sound is awesome?

Yeah they are kinda pricey for headphones, but wow! The sound is great and the noise cancelling is amazing! I haven't flown with them yet, just used them around the house, but the amount of noise they block is very good! The battery life is also very good. I charged them 2 weeks ago. After 2 weeks of use for 1-2 hours each day, the app says the battery is still at 90%. I also worried that with only 2 buttons that there would be limited control over them, but the swipe/gesture system works very well and I've gotten used to it for my current purposes. If you can get past the cost, these are very good!

This is a realistic review of the Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones. The design is good enough, not great. The noise cancelling is top notch, as advertised. I have doubts about how durable the plastic is. I have broken plastic headphones, three sets, and these feel like they would break if you are not careful with them. The sound? Ugggg. The sound is extremely colored and the only way to fix it is with an EQ. Otherwise you will hear muddiness in the bass and mid bass. Problem is, the only way to properly EQ them is with the phone app. There is not a Sony app for your PC or laptop. To be quite honest, I really do not know why these headphones get such high ratings. Probably because of the noise cancelling I guess. I have listened to many other wireless headphones that sound better than these. I have them 4 stars only because 3 and a half isn't an option.

great noise cancellation, sound quality and battery life. I'm living in a noisy environment and this made it bearable. I had no problem pairing it w/ my iphone. you may want to download the app for firmware updates and to access some settings. I chose this one for its price and better codec support over XM4. I was worried in terms of noise cancellation but it blew my expectations.
