I owed the MX2 and upgraded to the MX3. Sold the MX2 to a coworker and he is happy. The MX3 is a step above the MX2 which was a step above the Bose. Go to a Bestbuy store and try them side by side. You will see how much better the noise cancellation really is. I can calibrate the noise cancellation when my loud coworker is talking and it will erase his voice from then on - awesome! Works great on long international flights. Battery life is great too. Use it for 8 hours at work with BT. Use on 14 hour flights and still have 40% left.

Nice build quality, and light as a feather. Overall a nice set of Bluetooth headphones, but you will need to use an equalizer to get the best sound from them. Out of the box they are very bass heavy to the point of sounding boomy. And I like bass, but not when it bleeds into the midrange. But once Bluetooth was set to LDAC, and sound adjusted with the Wavelet equalizer (in Play Store), they sounded excellent. The noise cancelling was the best I heard! Unfortunately, since they can only be connected to one device at a time, I had to return them. I will definitely pick up the xm4s (as they can connect to multiple devices). If you can find them on sale, and don't need them for multiple devices, these are definitely worth picking up.

These headphone are great! Light weight and easy to set up. The sound quality is amazing and when noise canceling is on you feel like you a world away. I have two children and I can put these on, turn on some music or connect to my phone/stereo/etc and the outside sound melts away. Love that it comes with cord adaptor as well, makes it easy to connect to gaming devices and to in flight movies on planes!! The side touch control is great so you are not searching for buttons in the dark. They also seem to be pretty sturdy to me. I have had no issues whatsoever.

Excellent bluetooth headset with amazing noise cancellation! I personally love how long I can wear these for without feeling fatigue on my ears. The setup was very simple on the phone and on my PC. There are 3 different modes to go between with noise cancellation on, off, and ambient sound being pipped into the headset so you can still hear people. When noise cancelling is on it works extremely well. I'm not seeing a reason to get the MX4 over these.

I purchased these primarily for travel. I've never been a big fan of over the ear headphones, but airplane noice bothers me and I'm tired of cranking up the sound on a movie just to overwhelm the engine noise. These Sony headphones are about as comfortable as any over the ear headphone could be. Noise reduction is excellent - now I keep movie volume at about half. Love the ability to adjust how much reduction they provide. Excellent to be able to put your hand on one ear and hear everything around you temporarily ("yes, I'll have a diet coke please").

The XM3 headphones are build solid, and sound is excellent over Bluetooth. One thing to consider is you must repair headphones each time you switch Bluetooth device. The headphones will only connect to last device paired to. Noise Cancellation is excellent while using during grass mowing. These headphones are on sale quite often as they are last generation product.

These headphones have amazing noise cancelling. Above that they have the coolest most convenient touch sensing controls. They are also very comfortable.

My family gifted these headphones to me for Christmas and they are hands down the best gift i got! I completely love these headphones. Normally i cannot wear headphones for more than 2 hours or else my ears get irritated but with these i can comfortably enjoy at least 2x the listening time before i need to take a break. Its very impressive how drastic the sound change is the moment you put them on and thats without them even being on! The sound quality for music and videos is solid, no complaints there. I would definitely recommend!

I've had these headphones for over a year, and before these I had theWH-1000XM2. These are better than the XM2 in every way, sound quality, noise cancellation, phone calls, battery life. I typically charge these once a week and use them daily for Zoom meetings, music to tune out the office/home. Even at the highest volume, people usually can't hear what I have playing. The best improvement since the last model is the phone calls, they pick up less outside noise than the last model. These are my favorite headphones so far.

I’m a music head and I’ve got to say that these things are utterly fantastic! They’re so crisp and clear sounding, super comfortable as well. Been listening to a bunch of different tracks spanning multiple genres, from metal to pop, to hip-hop, and classical, etc., and all sound amazing! Super happy with this purchase! Only complaint is the microphone, it’s a bit sensitive, but I didn’t buy these for that feature, I wanted some killer headphones for the purpose of listening to music, and that is what got!

These are excellent headphones: very comfortable, long-lasting battery, and great sound quality. The only thing I wish they had was multipoint connectivity.

These headphones have been a great investment! I have used them for workouts to block out everyone in the gym, and I have used them for watching a movie with no distractions. They can bump the music really well, and they can play the sounds of a movie with high quality and clarity! Also their battery life is NEXT LEVEL! It seems like I never need to charge them, and if they start to get low they will beep and an automated voice will tell you they are getting low which is cool feature.

Luckily I found these headphones. Set out to by wireless ones with great noise cancelling for my husband! With somewhat larger ears this turned out to be a bit of a challenge. He could not fit my Bose QC35, so we bought Sennheiser, that turned out to be a huge mistake and we returned the product. Came across these Sony in reviews, hurried to Best Buy and bought them. The fit perfectly, also for bigger ears and the noise cancelling is so much better than the Sennheiser. The battery lasts a long, long time on 1 charge. This is a great product.

Love these headphones. They are very comfortable and the sound quality is really great. They hold power for awhile too.

Very comfortable to wear. Sound quality and the bass is amazing. Google assistant is a plus. However, the noise canceling feature is amazing as well. While listen to music, I can cover the right headset to disable the feature if someone wants to talk to me. I can control my light and other features in the house that uses google assistant with my headphones. It is a little expensive but its worth the investment. I've used my headphones while flying in the airplane and it's amazing super quite and cancels the loud noises out.

The noise canceling on these headphones are very impressive the sound is also incredible the ability to be able to tweak everything is so nice i like clean bass at low volumes so where say the studio 3’s are definitely louder at the max volume and i mean that last notch of volume the studios will scream where the Sony’s get loud but not crazy loud but at normal listening volume the studios don’t have anywhere near the punch i want the Sony’s i can adjust and so clean and powerful definitely recommend these.

These blow my old bose away for flight noise cancelation and all around sound signature. They are comfortable, lightweight, and sound awesome.

Have to admit I was skeptical because I have used Bose and was very pleased but the Sony has at least as good noise cancelling, which was my concern. The different features for volume control are easy to get used to and fun to use. You can tell right away the difference in the sound quality which is more crisp. The wireless feature is the reason I even looked at a new headset and I really like not being attached to a device. Lastly, I am working on the first charge and have plenty of life left, think it still tells me it is on high. Changing batteries was a pain.
