The headphones are pretty heavy to me but the worst thing is the fact that they’re TERRIBLE for calls/meetings. No one is able to hear me well and I end up just taking my calls on speakerphone instead. This is very disappointing considering the price of these headphones..

Noise cancelling function is subpar at best. I have an older pair of bose that is better. Returned.

All I can say is WOW! These headphones are amazing. I could wear them all day. You don't have to fiddle around the ears to find the buttons, the cups themselves are the controls. Simply swipe or tap to perform the desired operations. Whether it's skipping to the next song, adjusting volume, making/answering calls, or (and this is my favorite one) allowing background noise. Sony has really outdone themselves with these headphones

Headphones sound great The noise cancel and other features are great. Most can be controlled through the app or a limited number of buttons on the headphones, visible or hidden. The fit is fairly flexible may be a little large for kids but fine for most adults. Everything is pretty much plug and play I had a little difficulty toggling between my phone and iPad, there were some hiccups. Also the hidden volume on the right ear works ok but there is a little lag. I could not get the fast forward/skip to work well, only play/pause They fold up well and come with a great case, wired headphone cord, micro usb-C charging cord (no plug), and airplane cord adapter

    Excellent Headphones

I've not owned any previous noise cancelling headphones (sony or bose) but with the release of these new XM3s, decided to go with the latest and what is touted to be the greatest. I'm impressed to say the least, so much that I've already ordered a second pair to gift to my dad. The noise cancellation is like magic and I don't doubt other reviewer's comparisons saying these are the best. The sound is great with highs, mids, and lows/bass all solid to my ears. Lastly, the comfort is there and the XM3s are reportedly both lighter in total weight, more comfortable to wear with form factor, and ear cups that cover the entire ear; again reportedly addressing pitfalls of the prior XM2s. My only long term things to monitor are durability. I hope that I can use these for years and that the quality of materials holds up. My only gripe is that these cannot be paired to multiple devices. I understand that is a convenience matter that Bose offers. But hey it's not too hard to wait 7 seconds to pair to another device. Overall 5 stars, very impressed, and would recommend.

    Awesome sounding headphones

I just picked a pair of these up because I needed some decent noise cancelling headphones, wireless being the preference. I have had and still have some other audiophile level headphones, earbuds etc. So I have some high end comparisons from Bose, Plantronics, Beats etc. I must say these are right there with the other high end brands. Pairing was a cinch to my LG G7 ThinQ phone. They are very light, very comfortable and the sound is very crisp. Real nice clarity. No sybillance in the high notes, well defined mids and punchy bass without being overriding. The dashboard which comes with Sony app is a great addition and allows customization of sound as well as other features which are useful. They come with a headphone cable and plug adapter for use when flying. Can't ask for much more in a pair of headphones! I am glad I decided to try these out, I am not disappointed!

I bought the M3's Friday and I can't put them down. These headphones, these Cans are the best headphones I ever experienced. I tried Bose Soundlink and I wanted more. They sounded good but a bit flat. Not much base and it sounded hollow. The M3's are a grown up headphone. If you can afford $349 for these cans then you should be able to appreciate a piece of ear luxury. The sound is clean and sharp. The controls take a bit to get used to but I have grown to appreciate them. The M3's are comfortable and well designed. The question is how durable they are. I am thinking about getting the extra warranty, just in case I drop them. I was thinking about Bose QuietComfort 35 but most of the reviews give the edge to Sony. I am here to add my voice to the choir. I highly recommend these cans .

Purchased these on sale a month ago. After about a month, started experiencing an issue where they won't power on after recharging them. Now they won't charge or power on at all and past the return period. Complete waste of money.

I have a competitor's headphone set and this one measures up right there with them. Nice tight fit. It's as if i'm closing myself off from the world when these headphones are on. The noise cancellation is excellent. I like the app that goes along with it too. If you're thinking about buying these don't hesitate. You won't regret it. Way to go Sony!

When I first turned these on and placed them over my ears, I was blown away by how much sound fell away from my ears. It was made better when I paired these headphones with my phone (easy by the way) and started listening to some tunes. They sound fantastic and with the battery life, I can listen for a few days with no problem.

These headphones are on point!! On my trip to New York, I actually was engulfed in my music. The noise canceling is amazing on these. I love the companion app. And the bass response was crazy. A must for anyone that travels or commutes daily. Very comfortable fit. Definitely check this out for yourself. Sony came threw big time.
