Mine might have been defective, but I had an issue where the right ear cup blared feedback into my ear when turning my head and other things. I tried many times to calibrate them with no success. The noise cancelling caused some minor irritation for me on occasion as well. That all being said, the noise cancelling is very effective. I bought these for my job in assembly and they cut through the noise, effectively eliminating the headaches I was getting after work. When I first tried them on in-store I said "wow" out loud because of how great it is at ANC. Battery life was phenomenal as well. I ended up returning these because of the price and small issues I had. If you are ok with the compromises related to these headphones and you need the *best* ANC available this pair will do the trick, at a price.

Best headphones I have ever owned! I use these for studying, watching movies, and playing playstation! Although the mic is not compatible with PS4, I was able to purchase an external mic that attaches the controller to the headset and have encountered no issues. The finish is very nice and easy on the eyes. The noise cancelling is very good and the headphones fit well on my head. I only wish that I could connect two devices at the same time

I purchased these headphones a year ago and it still feels like I’ve just taken them out of the box. These headphones work great for working out and all around use around the house. For someone with a lot of noise at home it’s nice to find peace with noise cancelling headphones and listen to music or a podcast. The charging cord is really small but the battery lasts really long so it’s not a big deal. The travel case is top tier and very satisfying to use

Better noise cancelling than the XM2. Identical sound quality, softer materials, and lighter. However, I think the XM3's cushions are too shallow compared to the XM2 so they touch your ears at all times which I found uncomfortable. The clamping force is also stronger than the XM2, which again feels uncomfortable for me.

The sound is crystal clear. Easy to set up. Download the app and you can choose your ambient sounds and music style - I have the extra bass! First full charge 3 hours - lasted me 27 hours of playback. Bonus is a quick 10 min charge that gives your 5 hours playback. I am profoundly deaf with a cochlear implant so I needed comforting earphones - lovely. All in all well worth the investment as pricey but worth every penny. These are a godsend for my dialysis sessions.

I purchased these to carry with me while traveling, but they also come in handy for listening to podcasts and music while mowing the yard. They're comfortable to wear for long periods of time and the sound quality is better than other noise-canceling headphones I've owned. The noise-canceling isn't distracting or obtrusive (where it feels like something is pushing on your ears) like some other brands I've used. The only annoyance I have with these so far is that they'll randomly turn off noise-canceling or reset the noise profile so music will cut out, background noise can be heard, and then the music starts playing again over the background noise. Other than that I'm happy with these. They charge up fairly quick, although the USB-C charging cable is comically short.

I found these headphones overall to be outstanding. The sound quality and response time is excellent, the noise cancellation works great and the battery life seems better than most other headphones and earbuds I have used. I only found two drawbacks - First, my ears get very sweaty under the cups. I have not had this problem with other quality over ear headphones. Since I spend a lot of time on conference calls these days, this requires me to switch between using them and my PC speakers for the longer meetings and the frequent back-to-back meetings. Second, and this is common among many Bluetooth devices, I with they would actually connect to two devices at the same time so I can seamlessly switch between my PC and my phone.

The headphones are great. They are super comfy and you don't even realize you're wearing them. The sound quality is above-average and the fact that there is an app where you can fine tune the equalizer to your preference is awesome. The noise cancellation feature is the best in its class. Having the ability to have instant access to the Google Assistant is also a great feature. My favorite part is being able to cup the right ear and it temporarily turns off the noise cancelling and music so you can talk or listen.

It works and sounds good and fits well. The instructions that came with it was helpful. I like the noise canceling even by putting my hands over the ear cover without taking them off to hear. The easy use of skipping a song and adjusting the volume. I’m very pleased with my headset. I like the return policy if needed.

I agree with a lot of the online reviewers out there. These are currently, the best wireless, noise-canceling headphones that I have found. I spent about 4 months researching and listening until I settled on the Sony's. They easily paired to the app on my phone, fit comfortably for long periods of time, and they sound amazing! I love the ability to use the hand gestures on the right ear cup. I'm glad I finally made the right decision! I have no regrets with this purchase!

The noise cancellation is MAGNIFICENT! Blocks out almost the entire world. Sound quality is great. The app can configure the sound profile for different music styles, The headphones are light and comfortable but the new shape makes them stay on your head more securely. Touch controls are responsive and intuitive, I especially like the way you can hold you hand over the right ear cup and it will pipe in the external sounds so you can hear conversations and not have to take off the headphones.

I needed a pair to wear while doing work in public places. It doesn’t drown out ALL of the ambient noise but it does a good job and making others’ conversations not such a distraction. I play music through them at a low volume to help drown everything out even more. My husband feels the cancelling noise makes him feel weird so definitely try them out in the store if you can. The battery life is phenomenal and they’re really comfortable. I would definitely buy them again.

This is a nice set of headphones with expected results of the active nose-cancelling. I use them for going to the gym and they block out all noise around me when paying music. They have comfortable ear cups and soft foam at the top. I recommend these headphones to anyone that listens to music casually or travels.

Great sound, and super comfortable. Long battery life. I like these more than Bose headphones I have had in the past.

Did a lot of research; read reviews. Came down essentially to performance, cost, and comfort. This one hit ALL of these. Yes, they are expensive. But.... they aren't if you hear the performance. Even without judging how the NC performs, the sound was amazing. Bounced between these and the Boss equivalent. These were better. Note; I listen to a lot of hip hop and these had great balance with good bass. Do your research.. but these were the ones for me across all price points.

I don't think I have every purchased better headphones than these. These headphones have it all. They have amazing comfort that don't bother with more than 10 hours of usage per day due to working from home. They have impeccable battery-life as well and it will even explain to you when it's running low on battery and it does charge fairly fast as well. After purchasing these headphones, it is safe to say that I will never go to any other headphones.

These headphones are excellent! The noise cancelling is amazing, the sound is fantastic, the ability to control the volume, skip tracks and turn off the sound and hear your suroundings with easy flicks on the right ear piece makes these the best earphones I have ever had. Yes you can connect to Siri and Google assistant (if you care about that), but the sound quality, comfort and easy controllability of these headphones make them perfect for me. Stop debating and just buy them, you won’t be sorry!!!
