Though these were pricier than I was hoping for, they are great quality and I love the noise cancellation and crisp sound. They were worth the investment. I love the convenience of connecting via Bluetooth to any device (phone, laptop, desktop computer) and the features (holding your hand over headphone for a couple seconds to stop music momentarily without having to pause, two finger drag up or down to adjust volume, etc.). These are quality headphones.

Quality at its best. The sound is amazing and unlike any headphones I ever had. Worth the price and investment if you use headphones on a regular. You can make many customizations to the sound of your music and noise within your surroundings. The noise cancelling is mind blowing and it literally block all the noise. If you want to mute people this is a great investment. The bass is another strong attribute of these headphones. Extremely powerful and Rich sounds. I highly recommend.

I have always been skeptical on Bluetooth sound quality and connection. Other headsets i have had before were just OK. But these, are truly work the money. I have never heard anything so clear. Very light and feel a little secure on my head. Does have an app to adjust to our tastes in sound. I did have to update its firmware when i started this up (through app), this will take about 30-40 minutes if you need to as well. Overall, very satisfied with this purchase.

These work great so far. The Charge lasts a long time. I have used these with my Sony TV they work well but sometimes there is a little lag if advertisements play or on a cut scene. No issues with listening to music. I may pickup the in ear version(WF1000XM3) for travel use. The noise cancelling and ambient sound controls on these are so easy to toggle and the app gives you even more control one of the few that actually works well too. Great job Sony hope Bose is taking notes!!

Purchased the Sony WH-1000XM3 wireless headphones. After much research and reading great reviews I decided to purchase a pair. I was amazed at the sound quality and the amount of noise canceling from this product. I am extremely impressed by the battery life. I charged the headphones once and now I am on my six flight and that included one international round trip and a flight from Boston to Orlando and back an the Sony still have battery power. I would definitely recommend the Sony 1000.

I love these headphones! Sound quality is awesome, and the noise canceling is perfect. its been a few days now and I'm i still haven't charged it (still has good battery) one issue i have is that it doesn't have physical buttons rather has the touch options which are a bit difficult to navigate. a good contender was the Bose headphones but which i initially purchased but ended up exchanging them for these and I'm glad i made the switch! it is very pricey for worth it in my opinion.

I travel weekly for work and owned the Bose QC's (not the newer model). I bought these to replace those and am not disappointed. The sound quality and battery life are better. The only reason I didn't give these 5 stars are they are a little less comfortable than the QC's. Also, these can't connect to multiple devices at the same time like the QC's can. Ex: with my QC's I could connect to my work laptop and my cell phone at the same time. I could listen to music from my phone and if I joined a meeting on my laptop the sound would automatically switch to the laptop. With these Sony's, when you want to switch from your phone to your laptop, you'll have to disconnect from one and go to the bluetooth settings for the other and manually connect. A minor annoyance.

I really like these Sony WH-1000XM3. The sound is great specially if you like to be able to adjust the bass. I also like that the noise cancellation system is adjustable depending on preference. They are also comfortable and feel after a few hours of use. The only thing I would change is the ability to connect to different devices at the same time, I have issues reconnecting to my phone if I was using them previously on my TV. Other than that 10/10

Noise cancelling is the best in the business, the NFC pairing and disconnecting is super fast and convenient! There are some drawbacks though, if you want to have the highest quality audio (LDAC) you can't customize the eq settings (although I prefer to customize my eq and have LDAC even without LDAC the audio sounds great). For some reason even if your phone is on vibrate or silent, notifications still sound in the headphones which can interrupt music audio (this may be fixed with a future software update). The USB type C charge cable is about 6 inches long. Even despite these drawbacks the phenomenal battery life of 30 plus hours and the quick charge ability in addition to the other positives make this an excellent pair of headphones overall!

Overall these headphones are fantastic! The sound is punchy and for my genres of EDM and pop there is more than enough bass and volume to get you in the mood. The noise cancelling is so good that I forget I am in certain noisy locations, such as in a plane. The app that you can install on your phone has a good EQ that you can get to how you want it. One thing I wish it had was simultaneous device connectivity but still a great product.

Very happy with the headphones. I've been using them for over a month. Charged them after purchase. Haven't needed to recharged them yet. Quick connection to my iPhone. Cool feature to tune the sound and noise cancelling features from a Sony app on my phone. I can choose what frequencies to allow in noise cancelling to allow voices to be heard and how much sound comes thru. I can wear them and listen to music while cutting grass and still keep the volume low.

Look, no need for an in depth review, there are plenty of those available. Nuts & Bolts: These are an excellent pair of headphones. Sound quality is great but is a touch soft on the bass. You can modify the EQ through their app and this is helpful. Only time will tell about the durability but the battery life is also excellent. Noise canceling is also top notch. The inability to connect to two devices simultaneously is what prevents a five star rating. If they were to include a USB dongle or provide the capability through third party dongles that should make a lot of consumers happy. How the heck can we only connect to one device in 2018/2019? Also too, no Bluetooth 5.0. Sony gives us USB-C and high quality audio codecs but not the latest Bluetooth version? Bummer.

I was in dilemma between Sony and Bose when it came to buying an active noise cancelling headphones but ultimately decided to buy these amazing pair of headphones. They are very quiet when on Noise Cancellation mode and Sony has a few cool touch features to deactivate NC if you have to listen to your surround or to adjust the volume. This headphone comes with an awesome battery life - 35 hours. Sound quality is second to none.

Sony WH-1000XM3 is more comfortable to use and light weight. Good Battery life and awesome noice cancelling.

First time buying noise canceling headphones. Tried the high end Bose, Beats and these. Beats cant hang with either of these two products. I am a Bose guy however the only thing the Bose had over these was they were slightly more comfortable. The Sony’s have the same noise canceling as Bose but seem to have better sound, bass in particular, and the cool touch controls on the headphones. Who wants to pull their phone out to change the song or raise the volume? Step your game up Bose!

I was not initially sure that I would like these headphones. I’ve been a Beats user for years, but after the 3rd pair started having issues i realized I needed to step it up. And step up i did. These noise cancelling headphones are awesome. As some of the reviewers have highlighted, they beat the bose hands down. My only wish is for more eclectic color choices. Beyond that, they are very comfortable, premium build, and work wonders for cancelling out the noisy world around you.
