I tried Bose which I really liked but had not tried the Sony because the display was not set up so I could use it to compare. I tried Bose for a few days but decided to buy the Sony (sales associate said I was making the best choice.) I had read many reviews and all were very positive. I like the fit, color, call quality and especially the touch control. And it really blocks out sounds. Extremely pleased with this purchased.

these sound and feel great. I wear them for long periods of time and they remain comfortable even while wearing my glasses. They are easy to use and customize. Perfect for my working from home needs. Even the microphone works great for calls and zoom meetings, everyone says the call quality sounds better from my end with these vs other Bluetooth devices/ phone or computer mic I've used.

I was torn between these or Bose headphones. I picked these because of one of the great features. You can put your hand over the right ear of the headphones and that allows you to hold a conversation without removing the headphones. Big plus for me since I wear them at my desk. The bluetooth is great so I can use Microsoft Teams or Web Ex with no issues. The headphones don't fatigue my ears like cheaper headphones. Well worth it.

There are countless reviews out there that recognize the Sony WH-1000XM3 as the single best wireless noise-canceling headphones out there, and they are absolutely correct. From the high-quality materials to the comfort of wearing these for long periods to the incredible sound quality in all environments, these are the wireless headphones by which all others should be measured. Sony does it again!

A Black Friday purchase to replace some wired Bose QC35s, I was worried 1) that wireless headphone quality wouldn't be as good as wired Bose and 2) that the Noise Cancelling wouldn't be as good as Bose. I can say that the NC is not quite as good as Bose IMO, but I mean that in the most minor way. Other than that, the quality is top notch and honestly, I'd probably buy these over Bose again. I really like the NFC feature to easily connect devices, it does have a headphone jack when you're out of battery. Battery has been lasting me a full day of listening with a little juice left for the next day in the event I forgot to charge it. Love the USB-C charging as I can use the same cable to charge my phone so it's not an extra cable I am worrying about. The 3 levels of NC (NC, Ambient, and no NC) are great. Whenever I feel the pressure of NC from wearing it too long, I can switch them easily to Ambient mode or turn it off all the way, and that solves my problems. As I've mentioned previously I think the NC is better on the Bose. I remember people would talk to me sometimes with Bose on and I never heard their voice. With these, I can hear them talking to me and can make out words. As far as NC on a plane, I can't say there was any major difference between the 2. The only downside to these things is that the microphone apparently doesn't pick up my voice well. Apparently sometimes my voice just drops out.

My office is close to a major freeway in Dallas and the traffic is constant day and night. When I am working or researching a tax issue and simply need quiet I put these on and there is NO sound...and you cannot even hear your breathing. I can connect them to my phone via bluetooth for when it rings or listen to music via my cell phone or tethered to my computer. I did purchase an 6' extension for the audo cable. Worth every penny!!

Sound quality is tremendous. Noise suppression outstanding. Very comfortable. Lightweight.

The sound clarity and deepness is unbelievable. A little too much bass for my taste, but overall these are the best sounding headphones I've ever owned. Sometimes they are a bit troublesome getting them paired, but once you fire out how to connect properly this isn't an issue. Hands down beats out Bose or AirPods pros. noise cancelling is adequate. Buy these you won't regret it...

I have tried a few headphones with no good luck but a bad review. I wasted my money on Beats and Jam pro. They both broke easily and not very comfortable with me. I decided to try this Sony WH-1000XM3 and this is just the way to go. Worth every $$ paid. I am still WOWed!! Very comfortable head device. I like it a lot. The weight is light that I can have it around my neck for a couple of hours. Comfortable for workouts!

The noise cancelling works great, cutting the outside noise completely. Wearing them on a plane cuts the engine noise completely, but announcements can still be heard. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars, you have to hold your hand over the right ear piece to easily carry on a conversation with someone. You have to keep you hand there the entire time. Would be better if you could active conversation mode and deactivate with two motions. They are comfortable to wear for an extended period of time. Music quality is amazing. The audio while taking phone calls is great as well, the person on the other end can hear you very clearly.

These are the best headphones that I have ever owned. I feel in love with all of the features. I love the auto adaptive settings to allow ambient noise in and the feature to stop the noise canceling while cupping the right ear. My only gripe is they don't perform too well while exercising. The headphones work amazing on a flights as well. I couldn't hear the roar of the engines or the screaming babe sitting in the row in front of me. The battery life is phenomenal. Charged it before leaving home and took an international flight. I didn't have to charge these bad boys until way after arriving at my destination more than 30 hours later.

This pair of XM3's are just top notch! They're stellar. Comfort wise, you will enjoy them as well. The sound these headphones give are superb with very clean audio. Noise cancelling is just next level on these pairs. And for $350, they perform much better than the Bose 700's. I would recommend these hands down anyday to anybody who is looking for over the ear headphones. You're paying exactly what you get for.

The best sounding headphones I have listened to. These replaced Beats studio 2 wireless and there is no comparison. The noise cancellation is on another level much better than Bose and Beats. The sound is amazing and they are super comfortable. I wear them to the gym and almost all background noise is gone before I start the music. If you are considering cordless noise cancelling headphones stop shopping and add these to your cart!

I love this headset, with the superior sound quality and cool features. However, it was a gift for my husband who does not make use of all the high tech features and he’d have been fine with a lower tech model. Just something to keep in mind. The headset is very comfortable with nice padding and roomy over-ear cushions. His head is much bigger than mine and it seems to work well for a wide range of adult-size heads.

Purchased this after doing a lot of research, but found some flaws after using it for a few times. Sound quality and noise cancellation are great! I use it to play League of Legends with my friends with voice comm over discord. But for some reason, I always have to change my sound setting to something else and switch it back to headphone to enable the sound in the game every time we start a new game. It's kinda annoying, but I am glad I at least found a way to make it work. Battery life is great but it can be a little tight for the ears. My Sennheiser headphone is more comfortable for long usage.
