I never thought I'd see the day that I would spend this much on a pair of headphones... but, here we are. I'd do it all over again. These things are amazing. If you want a durable pair of headphones and the best in the market noise canceling, take the plunge and get these. Sound quality is amazing. Battery life is insane (had them for a month and use them every day at work and have charged them twice).

Ive been looking for “afordable” headphones that sound great for a long time. I had to return a pair of Bose QC35II for their flat sound and unimpressive bass. This Sonys have good bass, not head smashing, just good. Ideal for rock, pop, electronic, etc. Touch controls are a bit finicky but work great. If I could change something it would be that the on/off button was a switch so that I knew when it was actually on.

I was debating these headphones or the bose headphones for a long time. I'm glad i picked these. They work really well with android phones. The noise canceling is nice but its not like you cant hear your surroundings. The music and or videos sound great. Overall, I'm very please with these and the battery lasts forever.

As a musician I’m always looking for that clean and punchy sound. On my way to work or in the studio, I can wear these without getting fatigue on my ears. The Battery life is incredible! I wear them about 5 hrs and day and only change them about once every 2 weeks. So light but yet powerful! The Noise cancelling is by far one of the best on the market! You won’t regret it!

Sony wh-1000xm3 are lightweight, comfortable and sound very good. The noise canceling is top notch and works wonders during train rides. My only gripe would be the touch controls. They take a little getting used to. Other that I would highly recommend.

I was looking between these and the Bose QC35’s. Both sounded great but these had some extra features like the ability to put your hand to the warmup to let outside sound in. Great when on planes or in public places where you want to hear an announcement. These are comfortable to wear though they do get a little warm on your ears after a while. Overall very good headphones and excellent noise cancellation.

I use over the ear headphones every night when I watch TV etc. My favorite headphones so far were the SkullCandy Crusher Wireless bc I love big bass but Ive wanted to try these Sony's for a long time. I have to say...these are more comfortable, with better all around sound than my Crusher's. The Sony app is very very extensive and the Noise Cancelling here is awesome.

I’ve been in the market for some high-quality noise canceling headphones for a bit. I’ve never been a big Bose fan, but I couldn’t deny their ability to excel in noise canceling . However, after listing to these and demoing the noise canceling feature in a busy BB store, I was quickly sold. At the same price point as the Bose, I would highly recommend anyone who is in the market to take a look at these. Sound quality is excellent, significantly better than the Bose in my mind. I also believe the noise canceling feature of these surpasse the Bose. My only complaint on these headphones is the build quality, even though I don’t see these breaking anytime soon, I don’t seem them standing up to many drops or hard use. The Sony Connect app can be a little finicky at times, but that can be updated by Sony to perform better. Simply looking at the sound quality and noise canceling ability, you won’t find anything better for the price. The case that comes with the headphones is compact enough to fit into a briefcase or a backpack. Much better than the bulky one that came with my old Sennheiser headphones. The touch feature on the earcup is a little sensitive, but with time you get used to it. I struggled in the past to find noise canceling headphones that would cause pressure when traveling on airplanes, but with these and Sony’s ability to factor in pressure sensitivity via the app that allows the headphones to adapt to pressure, makes these an excellent travel companion on flights. Extremely happy with my purchase.

Just bought the WH1000XM3 and immediately trashed my QC35II. WH1000XM3 is really stretching human‘s limit on Noise Cancelling Headphones. The sound quality, bass and noise-cancelling just can’t be matched. Before buying the WH1000XM3, I thought my QC35II was a pretty good headphone, but after listening to my new WH1000XM3, I just can‘t go back. QC35II sound quality seems so childish so naïve so dull in comparison.

Little pricey but very comfortable and great sound. Very happy with purchase.

These headphones are the best. The sound is not too overpowering in bass like others I’ve used. While the battery lasts me well over a week without charging. The one thing i would add is the ability to easily switch devices that are connected through bluetooth.

I’m a college student and having noise cancelling earphones is really helpful! I love that they change settings based on your environment and that you can easily pause your music. Also, they’re super comfortable and easily fit into my backpack! :)

Yes, these are pricey but the sound quality is great and the noise isolation is second to none. They are also quite comfortable to wear and do not put pressure on me as I wear them. Bluetooth connects is also very good and the sound quality for conference calls is excellent. The touch controls take some getting used to, but in time, it becomes second nature.

So I decided to get these, the bose, and the crusher 360 by skullycandy limited edition. Out of all three the bose are the most comfortable. The sony headphones supposedly had more features through the app which I never could figure out. However when it came to sound the skullcandy crusher are by far the best! I saw Avengers on my phone using the sony and it sounded flat. With the skullcandy it sounded amazing. I'm not saying the sony headphones are not good I just do not feel they are worth $350. The most I would personally feel comfortable paying for those headphones are $199 and not a dollar more. $350 is way too much for what you get.

Wonderful headphones. Allowed me to sleep in a plane full of little children. And even after a 21 hour journey from Central Asia to US West, had 50% charge remaining. Huge kudos to SONY. However if you read it go get 1000xm4, these are a little bit better. But if you manage to find xm3 for $200 or so, get them, it is a great value proposition

These Sony headphones live up to their billing - great noise cancelling and great sound with music. They do get warm around the ears, but that is true of any over the ears headphones. It's too bad they are so expensive, which almost turned me off from buying them. But, the noise cancelling reviews on-line as compared to the less expensive models convinced me to buy them.

This headset really blew me away- the sound quality favors bass but is very clear and well balanced. The ANC does a really good job of filtering out most background noises and even manages to partially eliminate voices, something that other ANC headphones struggle with. As the title says, make sure you buy these when on sale. They can go down to $179 and that’s when they’re worth it the most. Super easy to use, too, and the app is intuitive and clean. Case is very premium and durable, and my only complaint is the touch controls are finicky. Overall, amazing premium headset that is worth every penny.

Excellent headphones. Long battery life and excellent sound quality. I recommend that if you can get these on discount for $200 get them. I already owned a pair and wanted to get a second one for family.
