Better than Bose and Beats, I tried all 3. The WH-1000XM3's are as comfortable if not more so than the QC 600's, (deeper cup). Sound quality is narrowly better with these. Where Sony really pulls away is in the app. The eq adjustment is something that Bose doesn't have; you're stuck with their levels. Its a tight race but this round goes to Sony.

I bought these headphones while on vacation, and it was a great purchase while traveling. The noise cancellation works perfectly on a crowded airplane, and the option to cover the earpiece to hear outside noise is a nice feature so you don’t need to remove them entirely. The battery life lasted all week of on and off use. And they were great for watching tv quietly when I got home.

I directly compared these guys with the Bose QCII for a few weeks. I much preferred the comfort and lightness along with dual Bluetooth connectivity of the QCII, however I wanted a new pair of headphones to listen to music and the quality of the Sony sound was a good bit better. The Bose headphones lacked low frequency response and missed some of the key frequencies. The Sony has a great sound stage. The Sony's are quite uncomfortable to wear for any extended period of time. I picked up a pair of the Dekoni ear cushions which solve most the comfort problem.

I bought these in preparation for a trip overseas; and I am so glad that I did. Airplanes are so noisy! The charge lasted for the entire trip and I was able to use it with my iPad and with the in-seat video monitor. I kept them on while I slept - and I actually slept! They are very comfortable to wear - like I said, I slept with them on!

These are amazing headphones with great noise cancelling. Their quality for the audio, is amazing. But I have to admit, they do feel a bit on the cheap side for quality of the product. Once you take it out of the box, it does feel light and fragile. But the comfort of the ear cups are above average. These are my daily drivers for wireless listening. And it pairs great with my Sony Xperia 1 III.

These headphones are amazing. I love these Sony headphones. I’ve always had studio beats and when my beats were getting fixed my geek squad I bought these. When my beats come back I sold the beats right away. These fit better and I love the app where you can change the sounds and bass:) I love these headphones and the quality is excellent.

These headphones are incredibly comfortable and amazing. I had considering them when I was looking for comfortable and great quality headphones. When I’d gone in to Best Buy, the employee that had helped me was really helpful and made it a great experience when trying on the headphones. If anyone wants to buy the headphones, I would recommend buying them from Best Buy!

These headphones are amazing for their price, Great sound quality and easy gestures to control volume or tracks. I love the comfort of them, I can wear them for hours without feeling uncomfortable. Noise cancelling does a fantastic job and they're not bad as a headset when you are taking a call. Overall I recommend this product 10/10

This is my first noise cancelling headphone and I'm really happy with the purchase. I have no problems so far and once it's fully charged, I can use it for a long time. Also, I fly frequently and it has come in handy when sitting near babies... so that's another plus! One downside is when I wear it for a long time, my ears get sweaty, but that's not a big issue for me.

I spent about a year looking for the best headphones and it was between these and the Bose QC 35s and after doing some research and listening to them myself i decided to go with the Sonys! The noise canceling is amazing and they hit lower notes than the ones from Bose, but the bass isnt over powering! overall they are very worth the money and i would HIGHLY recommend them!

Sound quality: deep tight bass with clear mids and highs. Comfort:. I can wear these for 2-3 hours without discomfort. They are pretty light as well. Noise cancelling:; prepared to be amazed by how much noise it cancels. This is my first nc headphones and I'm really enjoying it Phone app:. A nice surprise! The sound quality provided by these headphones is great. I listen to different genres of music and all sounded great. Sony did a great job designing them. The comfort is also great. You can listen to music for hours and your ears will not hurt. Very soft ear pads and fits great of the head. Overall great sound quality and comfort.

Awesome over the ear headphone. Last long between charging and great noise canceling feature. Control is a little bit getting used to it. Sound is really great and all in all, the best headphone in its class and price range. It can compete to those high end HP like Bang & Olufsen, Master & Dynamic, V-Moss, Bowers & Wilkins & etc. Beat bang for your buck.

I love these headphones. The noise cancelling features are exceptional and the ability to cup one ear and suspend the noise cancelling or whatever you are listening to is a game changer. I've used these whilst travelling and they work better than any headphones I've had previously with cancelling the outside droning engine noise. The battery lasts pretty long too.

Loved these headphones until the 1000XM4's came out. If you are looking at these now as a budget option, you cannot go wrong. The sound quality is fantastic, and the noise canceling is steller. Best of all, I can have them on my head all day and will forget they are there.

After reading the reviews on several brands of headphones, I decided to go with the Sony WH-1000XM3's, which were top rated. I wasn't disappointed! They are easy to operate and have great sound quality - including awesome base. The controls are easy and they provide excellent noise cancelling. Battery life is also outstanding. They are well worth the price!

This is my first NC headphones, I was always wanting to buy Bose QC2 for its NC reviews, however one of my friend had the Bose and I tried listing to some heavy bass music, I was not impressed at all, I did not experience much on NC though, but when I saw almost 5 * reviews of Sony XM3, I wanted to try it and I tried it in Best buy, I tried paring it to my S9+ and played my music collection (MP3 320 kbps), both NC and the music was awesome, no distortion at all, I was blown away by the sound quality and the NC working together. However as I mentioned this is my first NC headphones and I am not sire how it works or what to expect, I did try at my home with my TV on and Music on youtube, with NC on, I was able to hear the music from my TV very well and also I was able to hear my wife talk (no music on the headphones, just NC on), I tried with all the options on the Mobile app, but still I could hear everything clearly, with this I can't really use this to just have the NC on and no Music on a flight to train to reduce the external noise, I may be wrong here and the other thing I noticed is the sound leaks a lot on this headphone, I love listening to music at high volume, sound leaks. Not sure have to try it on train or in public place to see the reaction from the people around me. Will update my experience. Overall I am liking this headphones.

The Sony M3's are incredible headphones, let's just get that out of the way. It has been roughly 2 months since I purchased them and they have worked flawlessly. The app is easy to use and the noise cancelling was a lifesaver on 4 flights. They put my easily broken Beats Studio Wireless 3's to shame. Highly recommend to spend a little more for these headphones.
