The punchy bass blends perfectly with the mids and highs. There is also a companion app that allows you to customize your listening style. Worth every penny. AWESOME JOB SONY !!!!

With better battery life by ten hours, a vibrant sound stage, unique controls not found on any other competitor, the ultimate in noise cancelling and a price point to compete for the product target, it's a fantastic set of headphones.

In my educated opinion the best out there.

These came in above the Bose in sound and just below in noise cancellation. I down loaded the app. Every thing connected easily and works seamlessly. The voice that tells you the statis is kind of cool. Oh ya did I say they are as comfortable as they get.

The noise cancelling technology and battery length is great. The ability to change songs and raise/lower volume from it without looking at your phone is convenient. The microphone feature (where you can hear outside noise by covering your ear) is just plain cool.

It’s very comfortable, the sound is amazing and very easy to use all controls. I always thought Bose has the best sound in this class of devices but this time I have to surrender to this Sony product. Simply.... the best.

They truly are the set I’ve been looking for. Quality is excellent with wonderful stereo sound, the best I’ve ever had. I use them with my iPod, my iPad and my New Sony Oled TV. I think the value is there and would put them up against any other set. I highly recommend.

Have the additional feature of being corded or cordless, and have controls on the ear cup for volume and device control. I used them on a commercial flight in total comfort. Just hold your hand over the right ear cup to mute your source and temporarily disable noise cancellation to clearly hear cabin announcements.

Always good to save a few $$. Fits well, charges fast, and lasts a long time. Also best in class noise cancelling.

They reduced the background noise from the engines roar making the movie watching more enjoyable. The ability to briefly cut off the noise canceling to communicate is an useful feature. They are comfortable enough to sleep with them on. Plan on buying another pair for the better half.

Long life battery between charges. You can cancel the noise cancelling by holding the side of one ear, then it returns when you let go.

Almost too quiet, risk missing announcements over plane PA system. Charge was at 60% at end of 12 hour flight. Bluetooth has worked good for phone calls and music on phone, cord and adapter was good for plugging into airplane seat audio. No complaints, Glad I purchased them

I've owned a lot of headphones from Sennheiser to Bose to Beats and although all of them sound good these Sony headphones are the best sounding to me! They have a great sound stage and the bass, mids and highs are all perfect. Also they are the most comfortable. Worth every penny!

The noise cancelation is phenomenal. Ambient sound option is very useful. Battery life is crazy long and charging is quick. I charge them once a week with casual use daily. They are not hot over my ears even mowing the lawn in the sun on a hot day.

I get a surround sound feel watching movie on my phone. Plus!! Great noise cancelling which I have tried on the flights. This helped me get quiet environment while on the plane and helps me get some sleep even when there was a kid crying. No regrets!! Plus battery life last very long...

Better than Bose QC ii

High quality sound, good noise cancelling, and great long battery life. I like the Usb C connector for charging. Blocks out all the noise of loud neighbors, dogs, and sub woofers on their stupid cars. I think it has helped me lower my blood pressure overall.

I was not impressed, plus the bass was lacking. I also bought the Bose for the VR audio and was not worth the price. The Sony headset had the same VR audio quality if not better, they call 360 audio. The bass and sound canceling capabilities in the Sony headset are way better. Over all Sony has given the consumer the best quality for price headset. My only complaint is the headphones can get warm.

Best Headphones I’ve ever owned.

I owned the previous Bass Boost model from Sony. These sound like those without turning the Bass Boost on. So they have good Bass. Sound quality is great. And the noise canceling is great. I use them at work. You dint even need sound on. They block out most conversation. Love them.
