The color is listed as silver but they're more... geriatric beige? Think the color of the handles of crutches. Color aside, the sound is excellent and they're very comfortable. The app is easy-ish to use and it does a great job adjusting the noise cancelling based on the surroundings.

My research on comparable blue tooth headphones with high ratings on noise blocking lead me to buy this model. Excellent sound quality, microphone and battery life for noisy work environment.

I was initially going to buy the Bose over-the-ear headphones and was directed to these by a store clerk. I am so glad that she pointed them out because they are incredible! Comfortable, including over my multiple ear piercings, great audio quality, and reliable charging and Bluetooth connection.

These sound amazing. They also are super comfortable. I often fall asleep with then on and after a few hours they still don’t hurt my ears. Convenient features located on the ear. Simply cover one ear to pause music. Ambient mode is ok but not the best in noisey environments. That’s where the noise canceling comes in great.

This is my second pair...needed to replace an older Sony version. Shopped and compared and even though I really wanted to try another brand, I ended up with this. Glad I did. More comfortable than earlier generation and amazing sound quality and noise canceling capabilities. Very happy with choice.

I wanted to upgrade my current wireless headset to a one with noise cancellation capabilites for a noisy office area. After many hours of research, I decided upon the Sony WH-1000XM3 as it compared neck and neck to the equivalent Bose headset, and was on sale since the XM4 model was about to drop. I am pleasantly surprised by the sleek body and beautiful sound quality the mic and headphones provide. There were some issues connecting via Bluetooth to my work laptop, but that was resolved after a software update. One additional downside is that if you aren't used to total noise cancellation, it will be a learning curve when trying to hear yourself speak during meetings. I suggest displacing one earphone until you get used to the muffled sound of your own voice. Either than that, it is a great piece! As a side note: Watch out for prices on the XM3 model since it should be cheaper than the newer XM4. Both have been observed at the same price point.

I purchased these for my wife who was traveling around the world. She absolutely fell in love with these the moment she put them on in the airplane. She said she didn't even have to turn them on and the sound was already cut down enough that she could sleep. When she turned them on she said she was in heaven. We planned on purchasing a pair of noise canceling headphones for years for when we travel but didn't want to pay the high prices. I finally broke down and bought her a pair of Sony WH-1000xm3's after testing several brands and models. In the end it was a toss between Bose and Sony, both are excellent, but we thought Sony had slightly better noise cancelling, a nice case/ammenities and overall better features, including the app so you can customize the sound to you. Both were great choices though. She just wished Sony had other colors...like pink, lol. After playing with them myself I'll be getting myself a pair at the next sale or trip. When you fly as much as we do you quickly learn that Silence is Golden.

These headphones are far more comfortable than the M2's. I find the ear cups to fit nicely around my ears unlike the M2's which sat on my ears a bit tight. I also love that USB C is finally here. Sounds are great and I get excellent Bluetooth connectivity.

Possibly the best headphones for the average consumer. Being in the audio profession for over 15 years these headphones have very high quality circuitry and performance. They offer flexibility and quality. The ONLY reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because isolate sound so well they actually trap body heat on your ear. Sometimes it’s even sweaty. Sound is great and defined. Awesome bass response and noise canceling is industry leading. Works well with the app and battery life is AMAZING.

I am a total headphone and earphone junkie, and I’ve tried lots of pairs throughout the years, from Bose to Sennheiser. And let me just say that these headphones blow almost every pair out of the water. Definitely some of the best headphones I have ever tried with excellent bass!

The sound cancelling is beyond phenomenal and the sound quality is so good. It nearly cuts out all outside sounds with ANC enabled. You barely hear people but maybe announcements on speakers may leak through. Still, they are comfortable with long periods of wear and feel light on the head as well.

Excellent Sound quality with excellent noise canceling. I love the bass and ambient noise feature. Overall just a great product but I have to admit sometimes you can hear that plastic sound if you're running which is not a big deal since I won't be running much in these anyway and they're not sports headphones anyway.

I purchased these headphones for a trip to Europe for spring break, and they did not disappoint. I’ve never owned over-the-ear headphones because they’ve always felt awkward and as if they’re squeezing my head, but these don’t! They’re surprisingly comfy and the sound quality is amazing. Definitely recommend.

Bose has been dethroned. These sound (much) better, feel lighter, and block out noise better than the competition. The easy gesture controls work great, and allow you to wear these and still be able to hear your surroundings if you so choose. Perfect for a commuter on a train or bus who wants to escape from the noise.

Best over ear headphones I've ever owned. The sound quality is great, but what really puts them ahead is the comfort. I picked them up on sale so the value to performance was great.

I purchased this after accidentally broke the previous version XM2, so I knew pretty much what I was getting. The sound quality is about the same. Noise cancelling may be better, but really hard to tell. Biggest change is the design. It is slightly lighter, and fits better. Pricey for sure, but it is well worth it.

I wanted to find something to drown out the noise within an airplane but still be able to hear any announcements. These headphones not only drown out noise, but with a slight touch allow you to hear what's going on. These are comfortable and easy to wear. Better than the Air Pods I was thinking about getting.

these headphones are one of the nicest pair of headphones i have owned. the noise cancelation works fantastic and if u need to talk to some one all u have todo is cover your leaft ear. the bluetooth works well and comes with a cord for in fight movies and shows. very easy to use and no doubt the best out there.

I have the bose QC 2 and these blow it out of the water in terms of sound, Noise canceling and battery life. I was recently on a business trip a couple weeks ago and I could not hear a thing with these bad boys on. Worth the price in my book!

I’ve had Beats and Bose and bought these after great reviews. I’m super happy with the noise cancelling as well as the ambient sound. It makes it easy to listen when other things are going on around me I need to be aware of. Fantastic battery life and overall a great headphone!
