I've tried the Bose quiet comforts, and while they were "slightly" more comfortable than these, it wasnt by enough to make up for how much better the sound was on the sonys. The noise cancelling and battery life are also both fantastic!

Worse decision because the xm4 sounds more clear but the bass is killed in it. Xm3 was great so dont upgrade to 4 or 5 if you dont need to

Amazing Headphones

I bought the first one two years ago to wear while mowing. Since I mow over 40 lawns per week, these get quite a workout. The first pair finally had a mechanical break in the left ear, but still that seems pretty durable for me. They get hard use, so after wearing them 30-40 hours a week for two years, I'm good with that. Anyway, I think I could have fixed the first pair, but these were on sale, so I bought a second one. The noise cancellation isn't perfect--I still hear the mower. But it's pretty good. My ear doctor says my hearing hasn't changed in two years, so these must be doing the job.

The sound is great, the battery life good, and wireless range exceptional. The quality of the headphones seems very durable. Don't forget that noise canceling is one of the best on the market now. One thing that I didn't like about Sony XM3 is hat they become hot inside the ear-cups after a short time. For the $300 price range, I would expect them to be more comfortable and easier to wear.

They are very comfortable and sound great . I did notice after about an hour my ears were warm but not uncomfortably warm. The set up was easy with them and we will see if they last the 30 hours they claim.

I bought them for an office setting, so the others were basically useless. These work much better and don’t hurt my head much when I wear them for an extended period of time. They are not perfect, but I am happy with them overall and believe they were worth the price for me. The associated app could be better.

I am very pleased with the purchase. These headphones sound great & are super comfortable. The tap feature is excellent and very easy to handle. They keep out surrounding noise very well and sound great. The only complaint is that they come with a 6 inch USB cable for charging so if you want to plug them into a USB port on your TV, they dangle from the back.

I went with Sony. I can use the headset with several devices so I'm not locked to only one device. They're very comfortable and great sound.
